from my understanding at this time it will be like the motorola A840 you have to go into a store and they have to order it for you for some odd reason the only reason i can think of is that its Verizon.

I think they will too this is a phone i have been waiting for for quite sometime i hope its all that is expected and has the new Motorola charging port the down part is no bluetooth but yet it is a basic phone so they will be able to keep the price lower. The CDMA Razr is a awesome phone i had the ability to test it out the phonebook is the best its ever been real ...

Let me tell ya this IS the phone to have i had a real version of it not a demo version. The color and picture is spectacular. The downside is the battery life. The phone i had came with 2 batteries. If Verizon don't dink around with the software you will be able to fully customize this phone from pictures and sounds from when you start up the phone to the awesome easy to use ...

I would go into a Verizon service center explain your problem and have them test your battery to see if its your battery. If it is your battery they will swap it out for you. The thing is if you are using V-Cast or a lot of extra features on this phone and have changed factory settings such as having the back light stay on longer you wont believe how much quicker it will run down your ...

I am having a very hard time understanding on why more iDen phones are being created. Sprint has finished the deal to buy out Nextel and from the letters people are getting they are now from Sprint saying by early next year you will have to buy a Sprint phone due to the fact that Nextel was bought out. Nextel itself owns such companies as Boost. So unless something has changed to create new phones is ...

I hope the V323 is a analog phone we need a couple of good ones. The V323 is suppose to be a good lower grade phone a bigger and better upgrade from the V265 series i believe it has the screen size of the V710. I am looking for a good analog phone and they say it is expected to be out the second half of 2005 for more information you can use this link: http://promo.motorola.com/ProductPreviews/v32 3.html

I was able to test out a CDMA Razr phone its quite a phone let me tell you. Its complexed you can change the pictures that come up when you turn the phone and and off you can also change that music. The phone book is the greatest part are the number selections are right there and you just go down and to select a main number you hit the upper left button instead of fiddling with ...

Cingular has a lot of customers because they bought out At&t and got most of At&t's customers. Just like when next year starts and Sprint finalizes the buy out on Nextel they will have more customers just like Alltel just bought out a cell phone company it raised their numbers too.

Re: Does anyone else's battery run out in
Jul 26, 2005, 9:19 PM
in the Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood forum

There is an extended battery coming out. I really am not understanding the hold up anymore. There was a auction for Verizon E815 Extended Battery with the MATCHING back door on Ebay. Thankfully the back door will match this phone. I know the LG VX 8100 was just released and the extended battery was already released for that. So all we can hope for is a extended battery release for this phone very soon.

Well i can tell you the E815 is a great phone and retails for $389.99 with a $50.00 mail in rebate. I would not take anything refurbished if i was you though. Thats just asking for more problems. Once again i will state Verizon once again got off way to easy with this.

I hope that Razr will be as good as the CDMA Razr honestly. This is a GREAT phone. So both networks can have the same great phone! Also I'm glad this is a thread where everyone is getting along. Yes and US Cellular too! and every other CDMA network out there get ready for this phone. I was able to change the music and the animations for the start up and shut down of the phone and everything! Its confusing at first but its so worth it i was getting 10 bars of reception! I would have to say the best part was the PHONE BOOK! Everything was right there. You choose ...

If you have a old V710 holster laying around it will fit the E815 if not you can pick one up from Verizon but i don't know if i would care to support them to much anymore. Motorola offers a better product line such as holsters that rotate and so forth. The leather case is also a option but I wouldn't pay $20.00 for a leather case from Verizon though when you can get it much cheaper ...

Like any settlement this might take a while Verizon is being cheap about it all i mean come on only a $25 credit to your account and keep your phone and than the other 2 cheap options. Verizon is about to be in the dog pound again for something that I am SURE wont be settled so easily. They need to be taught a hard stern lesson and not get the easy way out and buy themselves ...

I agree on the parts of working on the phone reception and build and than working on the bells and whistles. I know the GSM Razr hasn't been the best phone but I was lucky enough to test out the CDMA Razr which has the GSM Razr beat quite easily. The CDMA Razr for having a embedded antenna has the best reception I have ever had in a phone and all the features that let you customize ...

The Motorolas are built to be flexible like that so when you talk you have a little bit of flexibility on the phone its not a matter of it being built cheaply there is room for comfort. This issue was addressed before but once again it is pure preference and I've been through my share of LG's and thats why i stick with Motorolas and i respect your opinion and i hope you respect mine as well.

Motorolas are the most durable phones out there don't be fooled. I can't tell you how many times Motorola phones have been dropped and the bounced right back. LG phones were dropped and that was the end of the story. I think someone on here said it best about the LG VX 8100 when the phone rings and the lights go off on the phone it looks like there is a disco party in the pocket ...

The LG VX 8100 is nothing more than a bulky phone that is an exact copy of a phone Motorola already produced known as the "MOTO MEGA" No its not available in America but if you do your research you will find that LG did a EXACT copy of the "MOTO MEGA" I mean the "MOTO MEGA" has much better features of course. LG has to come up with their own phones and stop copying off other ...

I don't think i would use the term "Jealous" but LG has had some major reception problems on this phone as well as others and it goes back to their stub antennas and it really started with their LG VX 6100 I'm not here to bash anyone. I am sure they will fix their issues as well. The stub antenna is just not a good antenna Motorola realized that and thats why they got rid of it ...

Its actually a sad situation. Verizon has been pushing LG phones for such a long time. This thread/subject has been brought up before but i am glad it has been brought up again. I was reading reviews of the LG VX 8100 on phonescoop.com out of curiosity and that phone isn't all its cracked up to be especially the reception. The reception is a MAJOR problem with the LG phones. So virtually Verizon misleads ...

The Motorola H500 is soon to be released by Motorola by the end of the month it is just like the HS820 but longer battery life and more features and a little smaller. It also has the most up to date bluetooth technology. The price has not been given out yet but keep looking on www.hellomoto.com for the h500. Its the one i will be getting!

From my understanding the Verizon SIM cards have to be bought and activated through Verizon. If you buy the phone from Verizon it automatically comes with the SIM card. Than to activate the Verizon SIM card you have to call Verizon Global Technical Support and they will be able to do that for you. Some phones you can just enter a security code for the SIM card and it will be activated. This is not ...

I don't mean to sound out of tune here but i think Verizon got of this a little easy i was reading the 3 options to choice from for the settlement and i think Verizon should have received a little bit more than a tap on the hand for this one.

Also if you are using files that are Windows Media Player files you might run into a problem. I tried putting windows media player file MP3's on my phone and it wouldn't even recognize them other people are having the same problem with that. The non windows media player files work just fine on my phone though. I don't know if you have to download a mini windows media player for the phone or what.

Another option to fix the scuff marks is to get a leather case or some other kind of case that will have a screen protector than you wouldn't have to worry about scuff marks.

I actually prefer the expendable (whip) antenna. I tried the stub antenna and if you get a bad signal or anything you cant do anything about it. The antenna on the E815 is pretty good i have yet to actually have to extend the antenna and my reception is crystal clear.
