this is so stupid....its going to cost so much and they are not targeting the right ppl...if someone has prepaid in the 1st place its b/c they dont use alot of minutes there fore not using the phone that often....second i think prepaid is geared towards kids and kids parents are not going to spend all there $ on this...just my 2 cents
your ignorance amuses me. first off, it is an OPTION. virgin mobile doesn't require ...
will it work if i don't have itunes
the question kinda states it. but, i have al my songs on cd's. can i put them onto this phone? if so, how?
or, does this phone come with an itunes program thingy? or, can i download itunes for free from the website?
Re: Virgin Mobile
how do u know?
is it just me
i still do like my phone, but one problem
it has been almost a year now since i have gotten my phone. i still love it, but it seems to be not working now. here's the story.
for work, i work about 4 hours a day in the sun. but yesterday, there was an average sized storm. thunder, lightning, rain, and all the sorts. now, i usually get full signal in one part of my house, ...
I don't know, i kinda like this phone
sure, the monochromatic screen thing may look cheesy, but it is a pretty good idea. the phone won't waste it's battery life on that screen. but, if it is some sticker, then you all are right, shame on lg. but, i have a feeling it isn't a sticker. you see, if it is a sticker, it would be stationery, meaning it wouldn't change. but the time DOES CHANGE. so, maybe it is just ...
Re: T-Mobile USA for sale?
um....you are utterly wrong. if you can see, the us government has made it illegal for any MONOPOLY to exist!!! now, i know there are these other little regional carriers that use gsm, but a national one will be more targeted by the government. basically, since the cingular/att merger, there is only 2 major GSM carriers, tmobile and cingular. now, if they merge (as you have said), there would only be one gsm carrier, ...
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
ahhh, smart, but still, even if someone read it like that and tried to do something about it, it is their fault. if u get wut i'm saying
Does Nextel have push to talk?
haha, i knew that would get ur attention. i know the answer to that. but, can someone plz explain to me how it words. like, for flip phones, how do u ptt someone w/out dialing? any details would be appreciated
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
another big thing. like, i'm one of those people that doesn't need to use their phone a lot. but, if i do get a plan (right now, i'm happily with virgin mobile), i will most likely use the minutes. it's kinda odd, but if i get more, i use more. if i get less, i use less.
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
bluehfx, don't jump at correction's neck
i even understood what he said. putting 2 and 2 together.
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
u have ur math SO wrong
it's a family plan, so 39.99+19.99(2)=$80
family plan, as in it comes with 2 lines of service!!!
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
when did i say i wanted it for free. i know before they had this $59.99 starting time per month thingy, they had a $39.99 plan, which would've been perfect.
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
well, for us it is. and, we usually call eachother, so we have unlimited minutes there. that is the point of a family plan, right?
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
well, with t-mobile, can't i roam on cingular's network?
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
u so bursted by bubble. i have a healthy crush on the razr v3, so i really want to get it. i don't know why, but i am still looking into the v551. thanks for the suggestion. but, t-mobile is awfully girly for a high-schooler, so i don't want to seem like that. but anyway, i do want to get cingular, but the price is keeping me back. i still have a while, ...
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
ahaha, i should've read on before i posted my other reply. yess, somebody go it   8)
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
i meant to say starting at $90 for 4 lines. i thought you could infer from saying that about t-mobile from above, but i should be more thorough i guess
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!
400 minutes
unlimited nights/weekends
unlimited mobile-to-mobile
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!! HELP NEEDED
about the razr or the slvr coming to t-mobile. and what areas, or is it a nationwide release of the razr or slvr?
Re: Hate to say it, But T-Mobile To Go is probably a Better Deal
this is so baised
now, i use vm, but i barely use it, so it's a good deal for me. first off, you say buy a $100 card for tmtg, but $20 for virgin? what gives u that idea that they are equal. if you use a $100 card for tmtg, use 2 $50 for virgin to make it even. duh  of course you will get less minutes with a $20 card vs. a $100 ...
Re: AIM and virgin mobile?
sure. instead of setting it to be forwarded to your mobile phone, you say e-mail, not both. then, enter ur sms (10digitphone#@vmobl.com) then ur all set. vm blocks it for cell, but not for e-mail.
Re: FAMILY PLANS!!!! HELP NEEDED
will it really come to t-mobile? i mean the razr, and not that slvr? i sure hope so. where/when did u hear about it coming to t-mobile?
FAMILY PLANS!!!! HELP NEEDED
i am stuck between getting cingular or tmobile. here are the details
T-Mobile
Pros
-inexpensive (least expensive family plan for 4 starting at $70)
-they have coverage in my area, and i don't travel a lot, so roaming isn't a big deal
Cons
-BAD PHONE LINEUP (i only want 2 of their phones, samsung e315 and motorola v330)
-t-mobile seems girly, especially with their phones, but i think i can manage
Cingular
Pros
-Finally, i can afford the MOTOROLA RAZR V3!!!! it costs about $150 at a ...

Re: AIM and virgin mobile?
i've already posted this, so just look before your post anything. but, out of the kindness of my heart, here it is.
here's the answer:
first, go to the imforwards thing and fill out the form. instead, choose e-mail and put in your phone's sms addresss. (10digit phone number@vmobl.com) then, its all set up. i have this on my phone and it works great. works for all phones. well, if you need further explanation, just ask
tri-band question
hey, i have a question.
is there anything you have to do to change from gsm 850 to 1900, or does the phone automatically do it?
Re: Guess wats good?
whats this source?
Re: EXPENSIVE!!!!
wait, did u say save??? haha, pretty funny  hello, are you blind???? the least expensive contract is 19.99 per month. and let's think, $20x12 months is $240. yeah, and with virgin its $20 for 90 days (keep in mind its 3 months). 90/365 is about 4. $20x4 top ups is $80. i'd rather pay $80 than $240. and, contracts arent a flat rate, cuz there's overages, taxes, fees, and activation on top ...
switching modes
i looked in the manual online (amazon.com) and it doesn't tell you how to switch modes (from gsm 1800-->800, etc). does the phone do it by itself? thanks in advance

well, if you remember from like months ago, in the news of this website, and on nokia's, it says that nokia plans to make some phones for virgin mobile. am i the only one who remembers this or does anyone else?
Nextel phone bad batteries!!!
