It was about the money, Id be willing to bet Intel wasn't charging as much as Qualcomm but their performance is always worse.
The same thing happens with Most intel products other than desktop/laptop CPUs.
Look at their GPUs or Android processors, much cheaper, much crappier and they cant even run many standard android apps.

Are the Sims Dual Active?
This is an important feature to some but it seems no one ever mentions it. Are both sims active at once, receiving calls and texts on both, or do you have to switch Active SIM and Standby SIM in the UI? Can both slots access LTE Data or just one slot, as is much more common?
That's what I want in a phone, support for Both a Tmo and ATT sim that can Both get LTE data, even ...

I like the phone itself, it feels exactly like the S6 in my hand, but I was hoping for more from the True Zoom. I haven't got to play with any attachments but hopefully they can update the firmware to make it faster otherwise its a no go for me. Ive already got enough pretty good image but slow to capture cameras.

That's Great Advice... from 1998. There are many more ways one could be infected with malware in 2016, like a drive-by malware installer while visiting a site. Or a legit web page whose ad links have been infiltrated with malware that installs when you click "Close" on the popover.

that's been the only problem Ive had with Ting, the cellular data rates. This should help, still not the cheapest data but much better. For only $6 a month you can throw an extra sim in the tablet and only use it when you need it out and about. And you can still have a Sprint sim and a T-Mobile sim active on the same account.
Now if I could only find a decent dual active sim phone.

I was hoping they would add new handsets or the ability to just buy a sim if you already have one of those, and nobody can beat Republics plans for $15 or $20. Not Straight Talk, not Cricket, and not Metro. Ting is debatable but they charge more than republic for a gig of data so we shall see come August.
Now if they can just get Verizon and ATT on board...
Project Fi might be worth the money they are charging. Until then I'm sticking with Ting, the cheapest cell service around without having to buy a crappy motorola.

So True, and having done tech support for VZW, I could add several more to your list. Verizon's certification process is ridiculous, especially seeing how crappy many formerly decent phones become when they are offered by Verizon.
Although to be honest, VZW didn't really want to offer the Robin anyway, they Could have already allowed many many CDMA phones onto their network but won't for no reason other than greed and control.

No, its a non-removable battery but that's better for waterproofing anyway. I wouldn't buy it used but by the time the battery starts losing charge in 12 or 18 months, it will be time for a new phone.

They have big picture problems, network, CS, yadda, yadda, but none of that matters if you train a good sales team. They are Really doing this newest lockup because Sprints internal sales team practices suck. They cant even consistently manage standard customer service best practices, and so pretty much anyone looks good when they are put side by side.
