Justice Dept. Probing Sprint/T-Mobile Merger Effect on MVNOs
Of Course it will have an effect on MVNO's...
And prepaid brands Too, seeing how T-Mo and Sprint lease or own nearly every MVNO or Prepaid brand in the US. Sure the Deathstar and VZW have a few but they cost more for less.
So in addition to the 20 or 30K SprinT/mo redundancies, I mean employees, who are about to get upgraded to customer, I predict the price of wireless service will go up in the next year as they slowly turn the ship around.
Duh... No behemoth merges with another behemoth to keep prices low.
Which is also why Sprint is having a Fire Sale... $15 a month, get it while its good.
