Sprint Says It Will Bring Back or Create 5,000 US Jobs

This had nothing to do with trump...

And everything to do with the current political situation in the Philippines. Sprint was likely going to do this anyway but in smaller staggers to hedge their bets against Duterte flipping his lid and "repatrioting" Philippine businesses.

As the "Sprint intends to speak with business partners and state/local governments about the best locations for any new facilities" line shows, they are going to leverage tax breaks and deals by making a big announcement of these low-paying jobs and tying it to to the Trump train.

Kind of like all the welfare-to-work CC reps Sprint PCS hired in Texas back in the 90's, they got a huge tax break by hiring all these poorly trained employees who while based in the US, gave Awful customer service. And man...

T-Mobile

If I had to take as guess, this is part of a deal to acquire T-Mobile in the next administration. It's nothing more and nothing less..
