it's been flashing since i sent out a text, and won't go away. my friend did receive the text. i don't understand what it is, it just keeps flashing. provider is verizon. thanks for any info.

yea, i noticed that too. but what you'll see when you get the phone, that's where verizon decided to stick their banner. i want the date to show too.

i just picked up the v265 today and i've very satisfied so far.
the camera isn't a high prority on my list, so it doesn't matter much to me. rf and build quality are on top of the list though.
the volume and charging bug of the vx6100 stirred me away.

i heard the price drop was suppose to start friday nov 19th at verizon corp stores.
the v260 is coming out soon (v265 with no camera). it'll be cheaper than the v265 of course.
also, the lg vx8000 is now showing up on verizon's user manuals site.

okay, went to the verizon counter inside circuit city today. they had all the working models, and i got to play with the v265. much much better than the non-working display model!
anyway, construction of the phone seems to be pretty good. i'm still not used to the plasticy feel due to owning a v60i, but all and all, seems to be nicely built and lightweight.

yea, def make sure you try a working model! big difference.

i actually went to look at a couple of phones, one of them the v265. anyway, because it is still new, they did not have a working model on display.
the non-working display model felt very cheap. i also do not like the buttons much. can anybody confirm the build quality on the real phone feels better than the non-working display model?
