Motorola V265 / V266 / V276
saw v265 at verizon corp store today...
the non-working display model felt very cheap. i also do not like the buttons much. can anybody confirm the build quality on the real phone feels better than the non-working display model?
they also had a non-working display model of the lg vx6100. compared to the non-working display model of the v265, the build quality felt much better on the lg vx6100. the only thing i didn't like about the lg vx6100 is the chrome trim around the internal screen.

okay, went to the verizon counter inside circuit city today. they had all the working models, and i got to play with the v265. much much better than the non-working display model!
anyway, construction of the phone seems to be pretty good. i'm still not used to the plasticy feel due to owning a v60i, but all and all, seems to be nicely built and lightweight.
screen does seem to be small compared to others, but coming from a v60i, this is not much a problem for me because i'm used to it.
color and resolution seemed to be fine to me, then again i've never owned a color screen phone.

yes maybe you're not expecting much from a camera phone...but you may as well get the best you can get out of the camera phonea nd for your $
i'll leave phones like the 7000, 710(also crap), soon to be released kx2 out of this comparo because they are higher end phones with higher prices...also the 8000 soon to be released is way beyond everything vzw offers...but it'l be alot more than $100 that the 6100 and 265 are priced at
