The phone just dropped $100 today and now the activation price is $49 instead of $149.

WHere is the price change? I checked several web sites and dont see it. Usually when they drop the price, it means that there is a new phone coming into service. Anyone know of any new phones planned for Verizon service?

i heard the price drop was suppose to start friday nov 19th at verizon corp stores.
the v260 is coming out soon (v265 with no camera). it'll be cheaper than the v265 of course.
also, the lg vx8000 is now showing up on verizon's user manuals site.

Tonight when I looked online at the VZW site the price had just changed from $99.99 to $49.99

got mine at a vzw corp store. $49.99 with two yr contract. i got mine for free with NE2 credit.

Online you can get one for 169.99 with out any contract! This is good only through the 28th, when the V260 comes in the lineup to replace that price point. The V265 will once again be $269.99 with no contract.

I've seen this done all the time. I'll go back up until after Christmas. I sold the LG4050 last year (I'm talking about an LG.. someone Slap me 🙄 ). Anyways, it was out for ~$149. Than it dropped to $24 the day after Christmas for 7 days. It never went that low again till it was discontinued.
