San Francisco HATES cellphone companies, why give them advanced services like LTE?
I understand it is a big city with a large target population, but, citizens there obviously hate cellphone carriers and especially cellphone towers.

what are you talking about?
whether you purchase an Android phone or an Apple phone you pay the same cost for the device and the same MRC.
if you would rather support google that sells your personal information, keeps a copy of your address book and uses your search results to market you then fine. But I chose Apple because they keep my information private, write error free software and assemble top notch hardware.

Apples update will be on time...
I laugh at all you Fandroids and how you stand behind a product that is so controlled by corporations that don't care about you. I have yet to see a major update go through on Android without being postponed or cancelled or done in several roll outs. Sure the operation system is "open" but your $200 phone is outdated 2 months after purchasing it and will never get updates that it can support.

I am posting how much the average iPhone brings apple compared to the average Nokia phone brings Nokia.
If apple sells an iPhone it makes Apple $650, consumers are perfectly happy paying that. Sure you will find some people say that iPhones are to expensive and are happy buying junk phones.
Nokia on the other hand has to give their phones away to sell them. further showing the world how lousy their products are.

1. "significantly Different" means they didn't want to put the effort into the original browsers to make them compliant with HTML 5 (something webkits was designed to support)

I thought it was funny when Google told Nexus one owners that their phones were no longer going to get updates and to go look at the Verizon Incredible, but this is halarious.
Google updated it's own website for 100% of iPhone users but half of a percent of Android users that have 2.1 on their devices.

Google spends millions of dollars on creating a free OS that anyone can download to any device with the Google will make tons of cash off of its search engine, now both AT&T and Samsung have opted to use the "free" OS and use only Yahoo's search engine.

Kodac saw that Apple has $40billion+ dollars in the bank and wanted to try and get some. in most of these cases companies settle out of court and end up trading patents or sharing patents... Symbian isnt a smartphone... its an operating system. Symbian doesnt make phones it has the same business model Android does. any single device running symbian is not selling anywhere near the quantity of the iPhone.

1) if a single device sells better than any other Single device on the market why fix it?
2) the iPhone had shown major growth in the Asian market sales for Asia were up 494 percent. sales were also up in both European markets and in the north American markets... That means apple sold as many and more iPhones than the previous quarter...
3) I'm not going to argue with you over people buying the iPhone because it's a better device ...

Before you ask, yes the new version (not yet released for another 5 months) of the iphone with a working OS and extremely upgraded hardware will sell for more than the car you drive.

I can tell by the ignorance of your comment you have never held an iphone so let me clarify my previous post.
1. My iphone auto fixes "sim" with "aim" because it has auto-fix software built into the typing program. This makes typing extremely easy and accurate 90% of the time. This is one of those rare instances where i forgot to cancel the auto correction.

I agree with you but apple posted that operating relative humidity: 5% to 95%
noncondensing, in 3rd grade science you learn that rain is 100% humidity and fog is 95% percent humidity. Both of which are plentiful in San Francisco. Last I checked Apple isn't using film based cameras in their devices... So the majority of the patents you are referring to is arbetrary to the lawsuit. If you want to know of the processes apple is referring to you should look no further than their iChat technology and image compression technique used during those sessions.
