Re: Good news
Not really. Haven't used any of the features except for hotmail.
Re: Good news
Didn't the article say Windows Mobile at first? Oh well, glad to know this. I've been using hotmail for years.
Good news
But when will this happen for BlackBerries?
Re: Why does everyone want Sprint to fail?
Yeah, nexsprint. All the Sprint naysayers are:
1. a bunch of high school and college kids who really don't know that much
2. cry baby verizon elitists
Let's move along like Cyclonez.
Re: Sprint Wise in Delay as Predicted
I created a thread basically laughing at the verizon customers whining. There only come-backs are "I got mine 5 days before it was released," or "what phone do you have," or "you're just a troll."
I'm still laughing at them. They keep posting threads complaining about their problems and disappointments. Well, they got their phone first. Enjoy it and stop complaining.
They're a bunch of cry baby elitists.
Re: Small probs better than not having one
And having something 5 days early with a few problems makes you...?
Re: those who invested will be sorry
For all of you Sprint naysayers... Sprint ain't going nowhere.
Re: Small probs better than not having one
Uh, you just admitted "small probs better than not having one." Sounds like the "small probs" applies to you, too, broker.
Re: Small probs better than not having one
No. And I don't plan on getting one, bro.
Re: Time to whine and complain VZW custies...
Not a fan of Sprint or a customer, Mike, so I could care less about a stock price.
Time to whine and complain VZW custies...
Now all you impatient Verizon customers can whine and complain about Big Red's Curve issues. You see why Sprint is delaying their release? Enjoy your problem-ridden Curves. Guess sometimes it doesn't pay to be first.
Re: Just when we thought we were in the clear.....
Somebody get this kid out of here.
Re: Just when we thought we were in the clear.....
fb3media, you are an absolute idiot. The "D" in iDEN stands for "Digital." And what's with all the sarcasm, especially when you're wrong?!!
Re: Too Bad..
I know. It's actually a good looking phone.

Just called my local Sprint store and was told mid May-ish. I have read on other blogs and sites May 7th online mailed out May 10th. That is a Sunday BTW.
May 7th is Wednesday. May 10th is Saturday.

if they're still around... and they can actually get WiMax launched... your optimism needs some adjustment
Uh, Sprint was #53 on the 2007 Fortune 500 List. They'll still be around, my friend.
Your pessimism needs to face reality.
Did you hear...
Alltel has set their date to release the Curve... May 1.
Re: It's also on their website...
LOL... I just don't get it.
I've been looking to switch back to Sprint for some time now. I think the Curve would be the prefect phone for me. Hopefully, it'll happen sooner than later.
Re: It's also on their website...
Me too. I'm just wondering why Sprint is taking so long. They announced it way before Alltel, but Alltel is actually selling it sooner. What gives?
It's also on their website...
For $229.99
Hey MizzSprint...
Go to Sprint's website. Click on The Simply Everything Plan. Scroll down to the bottom and look for the teeny-tiny fine print. Tell me what it says.
I rest my case. Now, I said IF the rumors are true, it would make sense from a monetary standpoint. Lure the customers into the plan. Release the hot phone(s) after the plan offer ends. Make customers pay full retail price to switch to hot phones.
There's a reason for pushing it back....
If the rumors are true of Sprint pushing the release date back to June 1, there is a good reason. MONEY!
The Simply Everything Plan promotion ends May 31st. I think Sprint is hoping to lure customers into the plan, then release the Curve after May 31st. If customers want to upgrade or switch to the Curve, then they have to pay full retail price.
Make sense?
To evilhomer
"Unlimited everything won't mean crap without VZW to piggy back on."
This is the most preposterous, weightless comment I've ever read on these forums.

BROWN27, I couldn't have said it better myself. VERY overrated.
Re: About time!!!
I'm gettin' this phone. :P
Re: Is it too late?
You're wrong.
Re: Isn't the BB 8120 coming out on April 14th?
Announcement doesn't mean available.
Re: Alltel vs. Sprint
Thanks, mbake99!
I think I've made my decision... Sprint it is.
Re: Alltel vs. Sprint
Thanks for the response, ptg06. I am definitely looking to get a smartphone. Check out the 4 phones I've owned:
Ericsson T60d, Sony Ericsson T61d, Audiovox CDM-8450, and now the Samsung SCH-A645... pathetic! I told my girlfriend my next phone is going to be ridiculous!
Anyway, so is data with Alltel reliable or not? I just want to make a good decision with this. I like both companies, but one has to be slighter better than ...

Ok let me clarify a few things for you guys, First if you live in atlanta , Alltel does not service Atlanta, so that should be an easy pick go with sprint. Secondly you can roam for free on alltel nationwide plans for free, alltel and sprint have roaming agreements and they roam off each other for free. and as to the 10 a month feature for alltel if you have a plan that does ...

Hey AvgJoe,
It's called false advertising. And that's illegal. The State of Florida is just protecting citizens.
Re: Alltel vs. Sprint
Do you know anything about Alltel's coverage in Atlanta?
Re: Alltel vs. Sprint
I'm in Atlanta.
Re: Alltel vs. Sprint

Alltel vs. Sprint
Ok, I just posted a few days ago because I'm thinking of switching to Alltel, but Sprint's new plans have me reconsidering switching back to them. I had them for a while (with no problems at all) and went to Metro PCS to save money (I was always going over my minutes).
My question to all you brainiacs: who offers better coverage as far as voice calls go? I hear Alltel's coverage is better in rural areas, but I'm in ...

Alltel users... I need help!
I currently live in Metro Atlanta on the southside where Alltel offers coverage. I work, and usually play, in the city (and on the northside) where they don't offer coverage. Will I get hit with roaming charges if I switch to Alltel?
