Me too. I'm just wondering why Sprint is taking so long. They announced it way before Alltel, but Alltel is actually selling it sooner. What gives?

LOL... I just don't get it.
I've been looking to switch back to Sprint for some time now. I think the Curve would be the prefect phone for me. Hopefully, it'll happen sooner than later.

You guys.....

Come on now, everyone is so quick to jump on sprint about getting phones later. Well I'm, here to tell you why so you can all stop whinning. Sprint has a compliance/patch rate on their phones which must be passed before they will allow it to be sold in retail stores. Sprint's compliance rate is 95%. higher than any other cell phone companies (verizon and alltel are 80%). As many of you know PDA's freeze alot, some more than others, this has to do with different programs and software that each company requests to be on their model of phone, as well as user error. The Blacberry Curve was slated for April 20th, as long as it passed with at least a 95% pass rate, which it did not. So instead of sticking to the date and del...

I'm game for waiting b/c that will give Sprint time to work out the kinks w/the new phone . . .so the version from the batch I get will not have many issues, and if there are issues at all, they'll know how to address them and fix the problem . . .I just wish they wouldn't have said it would be released one day here and one day there, but it's cool b/c good things come to those who wait . . . 😎

sprints PDA's are typically just as buggy as verizons. And where did you get that 80% figure? I've never heard of that number and I know verizon has a pretty tough testing policy.

And even if there were problems....Why werent they figured out sooner? they waited this late to figure out that the phone isn't up to their standards? That just seems kinda weird--especially since they were one of the first cell companies to set an official release date. You would think they would do everything in their power to get the phone out on time.
