Well SE should have used that time to get at least 2.1 on the phone. If it was released with 2.1 then it would be a contender but 1.6 on a phone like that is like putting a lawn mower engine in a porsche.

Sorry Sony while this was an amazing phone when it was first announced, almost a year ago, its just average now. The phone should have been released 6 months ago. And releasing it with 1.6 is just unacceptable. You are crippling your customers who will not have access to a lot of the newer apps. 2.2 has been out for a few month and 2.1 has been out for even longer, there is no reason it should have ...

Wish you would have covered Night Mode. It really is a great feature and I think in most cases superior to a flash.

This phone is only slightly larger than the iphone or the droid and its not that heavy. Its also thinner than both, I use it everyday and have no issues carrying it in my pocket or holding it up to my ear to talk on it.

Return the cliq xt and get the HD2. It looks big but its very slim and fits well in the pocket. Plus it supports push exchange, trust me you will be a lot happier with the HD2.

How could you miss multitouch and flash? The browser supports both multitouch and Flash Lite. And the photos also support pinch zoom as well.

To bad you can't install 3rd party apps on this piece of crap phone. At&t took and average phone totally killed it. This is by far the worst Android phone on the market today.

in the Article: T-Mobile's Rocket Launches March 14, Plans Tweaked forum

The Even More Plus plans are cheaper than the Even More 2 year plans because T-mobile is not subsidizing the device. So T-mobile doesn't have to recover the cost of the device. Thats why the plans are cheaper. And its not really pay as you its still a monthly bill and you still need to pay every month.

in the Article: Verizon Wireless Faces Class Action Suit Over Data Fees forum

Last time this claim came up it was said that Verizon intentionally designed their phones to make it easier to press the web key. Verizon was making something like 12 million a month just on these accidental presses. Of course Verizon would not be quick to fix this issue, its making them a ton of money. I guess we will see what will happen with this lawsuit. Should be interesting.

T-mobile offers an month to month service with phones at full price. You can opt to spread the payments over 20 months and if you want to leave you just have to pay off the phone. I think customers are fairly open to it, though there are the few people who still want the "free" phone. Its actually become a rare occurance for me to hear people ask for the "free" phone and I like it.

Its def. a nice looking UI. I'm glade Microsoft took the chance, they need to. We will see how well it actually runs in the real world. I hope it is a success since it will make Google and Aple work harder.

Well if you don't like it don't buy it, simple as that. I don't like apple products so I don't buy an iphone. Why would microsoft use anything but their own software. That would be like getting pissed at Android because you want to use Bing instead of Google.

You can check out Skyfires website they list all of the available platforms. I don't believe they offer it for Samsung though. I would use opera mini. They offer it on almost every phone out there and it works really well. Its fast and can display the full web pages.

The main problem with Apple in general is their blatant refusal to accept anything but their own. That is why they will never surpass other OS's. They do not listen to their customers instead they tell their customers what they want. Apple still does not offer multitasking on their iphone and takes forever to release common things like MMS, which they usually offer in a brand "new" phone. The main reason I will never use an Apple ...

I agree there is a huge community for winmo devices, check out xda developers. I will say winmo is a great platform just really dated. I really hope Microsoft does something awesome with Winmo 7. It will be better for the consumer as far as features and innovation. Look how apple has dragged its feet with the iphone because they don't feel they've been challenged. From what I've been reading the HD2 will be the first ...

Can't believe you skipped on of the big changes to the phone. They replaced the standard music app with the HTC Sense UI music app. Seeing as it is a Music Edition phone that should have been covered. Also they upped the RAM to 256 from 192.

The iphone is not the end all phone. Heres a shocker not everyone likes the iphone :o . Don't be sheep and get a phone because your told its cool and trendy. If the phone works for you and you enjoy using it, thats all that matters. And At&t's network sucks, even at&t thinks so.

Tmobile is not the worst network. 7.2mbps on 3G with 21mbps coming by summer. Just because it doesn't work for you in your area doesn't mean it sucks. Every carrier has its problem areas. Tmobile has the best customer service and my Cliq on 3G is by far faster than the iphone.

Just because Nokia isn't very popular over here in the states doesn't mean they any less of a global presence. They are by far more popular world wide than apple or palm. How can you say palm is better than Nokia? Nokia was rummored to be buying Palm. Both Palm and Apple are one trick ponies.

This isn't just for cell phones but laptops as well. And see the cool thing is just because one group is working on making them safer doesn't mean there isn't another group working on making them last longer. Your thinking is simple, you need to see the bigger picture. If they make the batteries safer they can push them harder. I will agree though battery tech is years behind what phone tech is at.
