will rooted devices get update?
Does anybody know if modded/rooted devices will get OTA updates? I'm running CyanogenMod 4.0.1 and am curious to see what happens.

Good News!
I thought the G1 couldn't get 1.6? I was actually rather upset about that. My wife and I both had the G1, I moved on to a 8900 (as cool as the Android Market is, it wasn't enough for me and oddly enough, the simplicity of the 8900 was) and am still waiting to try out a Touch Pro 2. Keeping up with the G1, MyTouch and Android however, I thought the g1 wouldn't be able to update to 1.6. I am very happy to hear different and I cant wait to see the changes on my wifes phone.
I'm gonna call her at her lunch break and tell her the "Good News!"
