Re: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAaa!!!
Good point, because here in SW FL. ATT has terrible reception (hence no HSDPA), compared to the EVDO carriers.
Thank you Sprint!! Two??s
I for one am anxiously awaiting this phone.
I have two quick questions:
Will this device stream the sound from Sprint TV/Radio to my stereo bluetooth headphones?
Is the MP3 UI easier/faster to use than the than the Upstage? Too much scrolling to find a song.
Thankx,
Re: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAaa!!!
It's simple folks. This is a great device and I can't wait to get mine on Nov. 4.
It's true that the I-phone is not in the same class. The I-Phone is found in the Toy Department. The Touch is in the Electronics Dept.
This is a serious device with twice the functionality of anything ATT offers, Live Streaming TV for instance. I am getting this phone and after I get it, I will post ...
Re: Service Plan?
I may be wrong, but I believe any data plan qualifies for the rebate, so you are only looking at an extra $15 to $25 bucks a month. Go for it! I can't wait to get mine.
Re: Why is Sprint so difficult!!!
Good job Yean, You the Man.
Moral of the story here folks is :
Don't deal with anybody over the phone.
Come into a Cell Phone Store.
Then, you have somebody to hold accountable.

In all honestly, I don't see why anyone would want to deal with a thirty party retailer.
Heres a good reason: Nobody has been screaming at me about their bill all day, so,
I'm not already in a bad mood when they get here.
By the way, I have over 1500 accessories for all types of phones. Not including about 20 different bluetooth devices. In case you didn't know, they are made in the same country, ...
Re: Corporate Store worker here
Sorry supremecellclerk,
I was only trying to point out that your statement was completly incorrect. Precash doesnt charge anyone but the retailer. Oh, and if you are a third party also, according to you, ALL of them in your area are greedy. Therefore, you too are greedy, according to your flawed logic.
Also, if you are third party, you dont do warrenty issues, so you dont ALWAYS, as you say, take care of your customers. Next time ...

Thanks for the tip. I guess all the 3rd parties in my market are greedy douche bags
One minute please,
when your (Sprint) customers come in to my retail store because you (Sprint) mucked up their bill, your correct. I am sending them straight over to you. If I created a problem (doubtful, cuz I know what I'm doing) I will call and fix it myself.
As to greedy, I'll agree that the guy who charges ...

3rd party locations use a 3rd party company called PreCash. PreCash is the one charging the customer the extra $5. They must also master the art of paying bills online. 8)
No, Precash charges the retailer a small processing fee, and its' up to the retailer what they charge the consumer. The maximun they can charge is 5 bucks. We charge $3.00.
Yes. If they were able to figure out how to ...
Re: Chapter 11
I have tried in vain since day one to work with Ampd. My store sold aver 100 new accounts for them. Lefty, you dont know what you are talking about. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in this industry. Check my profile, I deal with them all! And if they had a profile on the BBB nobody would have ever signed up. They sucked so bad its not funny. ...
Re: shutting down
Try unlocking the keys.
Re: Good as just a phone?
Sure,
This phone has a very loud speaker and you can talk on the phone with the wallet closed. But why pay the premium price for a music phone if thats not your intent to use the features.
Re: battery wallet?????
Only if you want to use it. :D
Seriously though, you simply attach the wallet to the phone, it snaps in, and charge the phone. This in turn charges the wallet.
Re: E815 vs E816 {Hollywood}
Hey, I know the answer to this one!!!
Alltel will still be providing cellular service at the end of your contract and Ampd wont. :D :o
Re: Question for alltel employees
You answer is like this. You can pick any phone Alltel offers. You can purchase it at one of two prices. The nice low contract extension price, or the Suggested Retail Price. No contract, no discount. Now,
if you have insurance and pay the deductable, Alltel will replace your lost phone with the same or comparable model. This is the only scenario where you wouldnt have a choice as to what phone you get. If you insured a Cavalier, ...
Re: What a shocker!!!
I dont know how many enemies you have, but, I have ten bucks that says Ampd goes first!! :o
Re: What a shocker!!!
Not at all. I'm just glad I wont have to deal with them anymore. I have seven other carriers in my store so, Good Riddance, Ampd Mobile. And, thankx for the cool shirt! :D :D
What a shocker!!!
Serves them right. We have had nothing but headaches trying to deal with those people. They constantly wouldnt just do what we aksed, or even except payments on our customers behalf. Worst customer service in the industry.
Good idea from the origin but just went steadily downhill. We took them off the counter Last Week!!!
Oh, by the way, just cuz I'm not very pleased with Ampd doesnt mean I dont feel bad for all the people I set up in ...

See: Mid Level Features!
Great review, Guys
That was very informative and indepth. I learned a few new things and I've had the phone for almost a week. Keep up the good work and thankx.
Re: I'd love to see a Verizon version of this...
Well, I must disagree with you on this one. I have this phone and have not had a minutes trouble. I use the music player alot, and the wallet works great. Battery life is great with it, not so great without. This phone does exactly what it was designed to do. It isn't designed for texting, so if thats your thing, look else where. It does play music extremely well from a sound standpoint. I use Plantronics 590s (BT ...
Re: Vibration?
I would say its so-so. In the case, I cant always tell when its ringing, especially in a loud environment, but, I love it all the same.
Re: possible upstage backlighting issue
I got my Upstage earlier this week and love it.
Saw your post and tested mine. It went off in exactly 8 seconds. Probably because it's set to go off in 8 seconds. All around great phone.
Cheers,

Re: need help w/ options to call from US to Australia
Try Sendglobal.com. You can call to a mobile for 18.5 cents to 21.9 cents per minute and to a fixed line for only 2.9 cents a minute. You wont find any international family plans period.
Cheers.
Re: Unlocked + Prepaid SIM cards in Eastern Europe
Another thing to point out is that only outgoing calls are charged to you. America is the only place that charges you for incomming AND outgoing.
Re: International long distance
I think what he is trying to say is that, depending on what time it is when you call your dad, the call may or may not be charged agains his minutes. You on the other hand, will be charged international rates against your prepaid sim.
Cheers!
Re: Helio Ocean
Hey God, for short , if you don't mind. Thanks for the heads up! I'll try not to drop my phone when I'm taking a picure or video. I really like my 940. But I'm afraid I will be selling it soon. I'll need the money, since I'm only half way through my contract, for the upstage.
Cheers :D

And with the case talk time is extended to 6.5 hours with 16 hours of music. What more could you want?????????
Re: Upstage Battery life
Unfortunately, you're probably right. :(
Re: anybody else slow today?
No doubt. 10 is too late to be phone shopping at a store.
We are painfully slow today, but had a decent week. We close at 8 m-f., 6 on sat.
Re: Upstage Battery life
Now that I think about it, i recall the Samsung Rep saying everything would be included in the box!!!!! And I agree, the M1 is a nice phone, but limited memory, albeit 1 gb, was a deal killer for me. In the future, I expect 4gb to be the norm.
Upstage Battery life
Let me clear something up here for all the naysayers who are already accusing this unreleased device of poor battery life.
I have held a working model of this phone in my hands and talked with the Samsung Rep who was using it in beta and gave us a complete presentation on this phone. The battery life on this new phone was told to be up to 16 hours of music use. 3 to 3.5 hours of talk time. Way ...
