Nationwide Upgrade

Wow, this is getting really expensive just to own a voyager. I am on an old AMCII plan that I like because I can have MW and texting for $10(500txts/20 pix and flix). Now with the new plans you have to pay extra ($15 Vcast, $10 for 500 txts, $10 if you want TV). It's even worse on the family plan because between my wife and I she does not use any of those features but they make you pay for them on the Nationwide Select and Premium. I looked at doing the 89.99 basic plus $25 (tv select) and $10 (500 txt) on my phone but the price increase is almost $40. Anybody know any good ways around this? I'm starting to wonder if the voyager is worth it.

Extended Battery

I know there is an extended battery for this phone. Does anyone how how big it will make it. I know someone has the device now on here lol..

Like iPhone?

Does anyone know, when turning the phone to land scape, does it change it automatically? How about pics? Can you resize like the iPhone? Thanks.

Mobile Web and Full HTML

When you guys talk about mobile web for $15 (Vcast, and I repeat I dont care about the stupid TV) a month are you talking about the full HTML right? I hope so. Otherwise I would just get the Razr3.

i have an env so this phone seems like the next step.. when is this phone gunna get released?? and i wonder if we will have to pay extra for the internet and such....

Pre-order v. In-store

I can't wait for this phone to come out and was ready to pre-order it online, but from what I understand after speaking with a VZW customer service rep and reading other forums is that the phone is shipped when available (so basically on the release date) and then received in 2-5 business days from that date, which could be sometime Thanksgiving weekend or thereafter.

Do you think they'd have enough in stock on the 21st and not sell out if I were to just go to the store that day and get it? Technically, they should have a lot in stock to be ready for Black Friday, but it seems like there's a huge demand already and I want to be sure I can get one asap.

Anyone ever deal with pre-orders or have thoughts on which would be better?

1 YEAR UPGRADE PRICE

iam not eligiable for any upgrade yet, i tried to call today and order it if possible, no luck!! but i asked if i could get the 25% off full retail since i couldnt upgrade, she said you can upgrade at the 1 year pricing with a 2 year contract, THATS IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS PHONE! iam going to take the deal!! but i think that deal is for anybody that cant upgrade!! just some info for you!!

AMC2 required even for non-pre order

Is this phone going to require AMC2 to activate? I have a 800 min bonus promotion on my LDC 500. That's 1300 min for 39.99. If I change, I lose it. ☹️

Anyone know anything?

Hot off the Presses, the Pre-order Solution

It's official, it says on the Verizon Website front page:

"To pre-order the Voyager: Change to a Nationwide calling plan, then wait for a confirmation email before ordering."

So change to a Nationwide plan first.

Do you half to?????

If I get the Voyager do I half to pay the extra money per month for the internet? I was going to get a Blackberry a long while back and they were telling me I had to purchase the internet package or something?? I have the En-V now and would really like the Voyager but I do not need the internet connectivity. Thank You!!

pre-order quesions for some reps

ok i ordered the voyager after i changed my calling plan to the nationwide one, verizon still hasnt taken the money off the M/C card?? are they waiting till its released or when are they going to take the money??? i heard the preorder people are getting theres on the 16th? any truth to that???

Voyager Pre-Order Website Problems??

GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!! You can't tell me they weren't anticipating a huge response to the pre-order. I have gotten the run around from about 10 different people. First I was told the site would be back up in an hour, then 2, then tomorrow and now I was just told SATURDAY!!! I guess unless you were one of the first 100 people to order, you have been blocked.

release date Nov 11

So I just talked to a Rep at *611 and he said the release date of the phone is 11th, of this month. Where the hell did he get that info from? I know he works there and all, but I don't think he is right. Anybody else have some insight on this?

Am I doing something wrong here? (Pre-order prob)

Ok so i go to verizonwireless.com, log in as the account holder, go to my account at the top, click my phone, upgrade my phone, then it takes me to a page telling me the list of what the account holder can do online and i click continue, and it takes me back to the my account homepage!!!? wtf? And everytime i call 611 they tell me something different. is the site down or am i doing something wrong?
