Be prepared folks for a huge downer. I'll make a prediction right now that this phone will be old news in two weeks. I have been fortunate to know several people that have them already and they are not wowed by any means. I am sure you have heard it before but I will say it again...it's an envi with touchscreen, a html browser that will only play myoutubes(yes, you heard it right). Don't get me wrong, I think it will be a nice phone but the hype is rediculous!

If I have the New Every Two deal, is my only option to buy it in store? Going through the Pre-Order process I wasn't able to select New Every Two discount anywhere.

Best option would be if I could pre-order in the store, but has anyone been able to do this? This will ensure come Nov. 21st I get my phone ASAP.

Here are some questions that I keep seeing being asked and hopefully I can answer them.

Do I have to change my price plan in order to get the Voyager?
Yes, you have to change to the Nationwide price plan before you can even pre-order the Voyager. With that said, I would also recommend making sure you have VCast Vpak on that line as well so you have unlimited megabyte usage for the Voyager. With a full html browser, it only makes sense.

I have to have the Unlimited PDA Data plan for $44.99, right?
WRONG, WRONG. This phone is not a PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone device. Sorry if someone told you this, but they are WRONG. All you need is the $15.00 VCast Vpak or one of the VCast TV services which will give you the unlimited meg...

For anyone who has this phone. Can you tell me if u can set a contact ringtone? Meaning have a different ringtone for a different contact? Or is it just one ringtone for texts period?

Can anyone help me with this...I have called customer service a bunch of times and every time I get a different answer. I am wondering if the voyager will allow wireless sync and if not can you download it through the "get it now" programs? I currently have a Treo 750p and find that being able to hotsync is a necessity. I realize this is not a PDA so I don't need reminding there, I just want to know if this phone is capable of syncing your phonebook calendar and memos primarily. The more info the better. Thanks to all those that could help in this area.

Does any one know how much internal memory this phone has?

I just played with this thing and here are a couple of items.

Touch screen is very responsive and accurate. However, scrolling through the menus is a bit tricky and will take some time getting used to (took me 5 minutes personally).

I haven't had the chance to play with the web browser since the phone I got was inactive.

Here is the biggest issue. BATTERY LIFE SUCKS! If you think the RAZR battery was bad, oh man ... this thing won't even last a day. If you were to get this phone, get an extended battery (I think it should be mandatory for all purchases personally).

You can customize the dialing font size and style as well as the menu font size and style. The menu interface has only two customizable options, but the menu look...

So I noticed on the Verizon site that you can "muti-task while playing music" on the LG Venus. It did not mention that under the specs for the Voyager. Does anyone know if it is possible to play some jams while farting around outside the music area (like the Chocolate)?

Does anyone know if mobile email is really part of the premium package or is it an additonal $19.99 a month?

I know you get unlimited MB - but does it use minutes? the VZW literature is so unbelievably confusing to me.

Hi everyone, please omg if someone knows or can help cause customer service is lost and gives me a different answer every time i call. Yes i understand that the phone is not being sold yet, (its out in the stores already but can't sell till next Wednesday 21st, saw it yesterday a friend thats a manager showed me the phone it is sick, iphone WHO? we got a full keyboard lol) but all i want to know is two simple things. Can the voyager be used as a TETHERED Modem to a laptop to access the internet like the PDA's and Blackberry's can and say on their capabilities and how much is the fee? Someone, anyone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Will this phone allow for third party apps, like one that will keep track of all my passwords? I have this on my Treo and use it daily. Can't live without it.
