LG Voyager VX-10000

I called customer service and they said my phone has shipped today.

jw if anyone has the phone yet who pre-ordered or any other means thanks.

Anyone know what animated wallpapers are included for this phone? I know that each LG seems to have different animated wallpapers so I am curious!

I'm currently an ENV owner and I noticed two things that in my humble opinion that didn't change which should of...

1.) Phone has to be open when initializing and using speakerphone...why???

2.) No outside speakers! When using VZNavigator or playing music you could bearly hear it when closed.

Another thing I noticed about the Voyager was when using the browser, VCast Music, Picture T/aking or VZNavigator it forces you to landscape mode. I feel this makes it extremely difficult for a smooth one-handed operation.

I feel that the Voyager is a BIG step in the right direction but LG/Verizon should have addressed these issues.

i have a 2 yr $39.99 plan...i have 6 months to go before i can upgrade using the every 2 yr upgrade...i was wondering if i upgraded now would verizon give me a discount...or just upgrade me now and forgive the next 6 months..or am i forced to wait 6 months..any help would be awesome

I went to my local Circuit City and asked to play with the "demo" model...Don't get me wrong, this is an AWESOME phone, but for some reason, it didn't "wow" me.

I used to own the EnV and traded it in for the BlackBerry 8830, but I am not sure this was the best move...There is something about being "always reachable" that has started to stress me out.

I love QWERTY phones, so I am looking for one to replace my BlackBerry.

I had high hopes for the Voyager, but after playing with it, it left me with a few questions.

First:
Why isn't it a slider? Is it really necessary to have two 2.8 inch screens? Wouldn't this have distinguished it enough from the EnV to make it more appealing to a broader variety of people?

I see where this phone has the features to sync with my office outlook but what about email attachments like word docs or excel spreadsheets?

I've been hearing all about the ship date being the 19th (I hope that's right!) and I've been checking "My Account" order status on vzw.com all day waiting to see the shipping information be displayed.

Has anyone received any shipping confirmation yet for their orders?

Did any of you current ENV owners notice that the Voyager is missing the orange email key that was located on the QWERTY keyboard of the ENV??

I also noticed they didn't replace it on the touch screen shortcut menu.

Will the "wireless sync" still be available on the Voyager??

I can go to verizon on wed. or whenever and buy the phone retail and have it put on my account without switching to the new premium plan right?

can someone please tell me when I can expect to recieve this thing? I have been reading a couple different things. thanks for your help.

Anyone know of what the story for Wednesday is at the actual stores? Any early or midnight sellings? etc etc :-) Any help or thoughts would be great!

Preordered a day ago and just wondered if anyone knew when they would start to ship out these awesome phones.

I'm not looking for rude or degrading answers, but I must know: why, at least acoording to the info tab, is a phone like this cursed with the infamous Bluetooth Crippling?

Ship date will be Monday the 19th to be at your door the 21st. Some may not get there by the 21st due to shipping and not Verizon.

Bottom line: We'll know for sure what plan(s) the Voyager requires when we're in the store, phone in hand, ready to add the service.

A few people have gotten lucky and gotten their voyagers much earlier than the rest of us will... but has anyone confirmed a ship date yet?
