Please help! too many phones to choose from!

hello all,

at the mo i have a C600 and had it for a number of years so i think i should upgrade. I have searched it at ebay,sourcinggate,8eshop and so on. but there are so many phones out there now, i used to have a good idea of what was what but now i'm totally lost.

i'm looking for something that is going to be able to get my works e-mail and sync with outlook etc. i also want to be able to get a tomtom sort of system for it so it can double as my sat nav.

at the mo i'm thinking of either a wm like a diamond2 a blackberry or iphone

What should i do?

is there a single, wireless earpiece that is stereo ?

I'm yet to find one that is a single, wireless earpiece that is stereo.

I want to listen to music from phone. I know I won't be able to split left and right sound, that's fine.

I do want that to be STEREO / A2DP so I can connect to my laptop AUDIO, and listen to WHATEVER audio is on the laptop.

How can it be this hard to find this ?

I don't want a wraparound, or a dual ear-bud type deal.

I want a single wireless earpiece that is stereo.

Cost is not deal breaker.

can anyone please help with this little request ?!

Our lucky friends over at Engadget have just had a sneak peek at an LG Windows Phone 7 Series early prototype. The prototype is owned by Aaron Woodman, director of mobile communications business at Microsoft. The LG handset boasts a full Qwerty keypad, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack and there are dedicated hardware camera, volume, and power buttons in addition to the Windows Phone 7 Series back, home, and search buttons. Engadget don

Speaker dependent vs. speaker independent voice dialing

Can anybody speak (no pun intended) to trends in the cell phone industry re speaker dependent vs. speaker independent voice dialing? I'm interested in 1) anyone's experience with the quality/functionality of either or both technologies and 2) which direction the industry is headed.

What prompts this query is this: I have been using my trusty LG VX7000 for something going on five years. This phone is bullet proof and has as much technology as I need and WANT except for email access. I LOVE the speaker dependent voice dialing feature. I have some 20 tagged numbers wherein I previously recorded a single name. The phone operates thus: push a single hot button on the side, a pleasant female voice asks "name please", I say "John", the v...

Sprint 4G handsets

Maybe I am behind the times, but has Sprint released any non-aircard 4G devices yet, or at least plan to? I understand that their 4G is still limited to very few markets (17 more by the end of the year, hopefully), but it would be very nice to utilize the full power of spectacular 4G speeds on, say, a BlackBerry.

cdma txt question

So I have a BB Tour on big red, and I have noticed that if I send a message at the same time a message is coming in, the out going message fails. Is this a BB issue or a CDMA issue? I have never noticed the issue on any phone I have owned before I went to BB.

The End of Apple Dominance of Smart Phones is at Hand

The iPhone 3GS is a brilliant device, almost magical in its ability to render graphics, toy with audio and jump from app to amazing app with such poise and grace that all other smart-phone developers must "kiss the ring" before exposing their next attempt at a serious contender. What those of us old enough to remember have learned from the past is that a single hardware manufacturer, with complete control over the creation and distribution of their product, no matter how brilliant cannot hope to maintain dominance over everyone else indefinitely. In this particular case, perhaps Apple's considerable advantage in development, support and a large user base would have overcome past models of innovative hardware releases, but they made a fatal e...

I just purchased a LG Shine II from ATT. I wanted to import my phonebook to my car (I own a Honda Accord). I was advised that the phone would have to have a PBA (Phonebook Access) profile which it does. Nevertheless, I still cannot import the phone book. Honda tells me that ATT has to provide software to accomodate this feature. When I call ATT they are useless. Anyone have any thoughts? Thank you.
