Anyone have Samsung microSD card

Samsung just announced a new line of high speed waterproof cards and I was wondering...

In general do Samsung microSD cards have a good track record? If not what other brands should I consider.

Track Friends On Cell Phone Map: What phone???

About a week ago, I saw a TV ad for a phone that has a real time friend mapping feature. In other words, you have a group of friends programmed into your phone, then if you decide to see if your group is available to go to the movie, dinner or whatever, it will show you on a map where your friends are at that time. I didn't focus on the commercial at the time, so I can't remember what phone has this feature. Does anyone here know?

Do any carriers offer a U.S./Canada data plan?

We have several buses that we hire out for tours. We provide internet service via data card on these buses as a service to the groups.
Several of the acts are now booking their tours throughout the U.S. and Canada and we have gotten hit pretty hard by data roaming charges in Canada. Do any companies offer a "North American" plan for data?

Thanks

LG Prime and Bluetooth drops out when using headphones

I have a LG Prime I just bought. The bluetooth search from my Garmin finds it fine and works great for hands free.

However if I want to listen to the music player through the headphone jack on the LG prime the bluetooth comes disconnected as soon as I plug the earphones in, anybody know what this problem is.

Ex Clearwire customers watch for unauthorized charges

I purchased and iSpot last August with no contract. Clear's 4G service was too spotty to be usable so I canceled the service. I received an email from Clear saying my iSpot service was suspended and would be canceled in 60 days unless I reactivated service. Six months later Clear unilaterally activated my service and charged my account for four months service before I caught it.

I made four phone calls totaling five hours on the line with Clear. First they denied I ever received a cancellation email. When I found the email, after much searching, they could not explain why the service was reactivated nor could they explain the cancellation email. They still refused to refund the charges. Eventually they hung up on me. I wondering i...

Well, I went to a Clear store to see TRUE mobile broadband for myself. . .

I asked the guy to show me a long HD video on YouTube to see how well it kept up, and it continued to load ahead of the video without any buffering necessary, but it didn't exactly zip along as I had thought it might, but ultimatly all that matters is that it loaded the video without buffering.

So I can't wait!!! First 6 months is ONLY $20/mo, and $40/mo there after. Also known as $20 less a month than Verizon &
AT&T, and Clear doesn't have a evil data limit!!! The salesman told me he used 12GB's in only 2wks, and the girl there told me she streams Netflix movies!!! Kinda hard to stream movies with current loser 3G speeds, at least without buffering it is.

Thursday the 15th I'm going to order my USB modem on the web, cause they have...

hot spot phones

I'm not very tech savy. Been told that phones like B/B torch & new Droid have built in hot spots. Does that mean I can operate my laptop off the phone or is there a catch?

Sprint Ripoff

More than a year after spending $300 for a wireless pc card and agreeing to pay $60 per month, I lost the pc card. After searching in vain for six weeks, and of course not using the device, I called Sprint and reported the pc card lost or stolen. Sprint told me that they would list the device as lost or stolen and block it's usage. I was told that the only way I could close my account was to pay the bill including early termination fees in full. And so even though I had not used the device at all in six weeks, I did pay my bill in full for $168.34. I was told that my account was paid in full and closed. Then, the following month, I got another bill from Sprint for an additional $120+. When I called Sprint to ask about this bill, I was...

How good is 4G?

Sprint recently made their 4G available in my area and now Comcast is offering a just 4G plan for $30/month if your already a Comcast customer.
So I'm wondering how good is this 4G thing? 😕
I'm currently using a Sprint 3G data card and see they want another $10/month to upgrade to 4G. 😡
But back to my question particularly how good is in building penetration of 4G?

GPRS vs. EDGE?

I'm a little confused by all this #$@%! terminology! I'm thinking about going GSM, and would like to use my phone for high speed data. I'm looking at the Motorola v620, which has GPRS data. I looked at the review for the upcoming v635, which has "EDGE" data protocol. Are these different? If so, is it a "worthwhile" difference?
