Good info
Helpful article, thanks!
"You can't be more direct than being on... the app environment."
You also can't be more detached from reality than to believe people somehow want this crap stuffed down their throats. What an a-hole.
Warning?
So why warn them but not name them, so the consumer will be aware? Dumb.
Ant Glitches
e.g., Antennae issues?
Wow!
A lot of good information in one article. Thanks for the research.

What goes around comes around. Sweet.
Nice!
Wow, the Samsung design absolutely crushes the iPhone in the side by side photos. Way to go Sammy!
Size
I don't understand why reviewers feel the need to offer their opinion about a particular phone being too big (or too small). It's certainly valid to say it's "really, really big", but whether or not "some people may not like that" is irrelevant. The consumer will decide on their own. One-handed operation is not really that common from what I have observed. Maybe if you still use a flip phone, but that's a pretty small percentage.
Re: Why put it in your back pocket...
http://www.iphonehacks.com/2014/09/iphone-6-p lus-put-bend-test.html
Note he says not only did his personal phone have a little bend, but also mentioned the reports of others who had them bend while in their front pockets.
Re: Why put it in your back pocket...
The reports were that the phones bent when in a front pocket. Not from from a sudden forceful impact, but a constant pressure (and possibly heat) causing slow deformation. Not acceptable in my opinion.
"...consumers have no reason to worry"
Other than the fact that, well, they bend!
Larger, not smaller than Note 4
Published specs for both phones show the 6 Plus to be 4.6mm taller, with the Note 4 being a negligible 0.8mm wider and slightly 1.4mm thicker. I don't know anyone who would call the 6 Plus "smaller".
Yes.
And this really has nothing to do with the iPhone, but thanks for revealing your bias once again.

Yes, because as soon as you press the "Send" button on your phone, the plane EXPLODES. It's 100% true people, I saw it in a Rage comic.
I think you missed the point on this. The reason many people don't like the idea of phone usage on planes is because it's an incredible annoying to have the person next to you yammering away while ...
"more comfortable", unless it's flipped the wrong way!
Curved side out might be a problem. ;-)

You may find this somewhat interesting.
I know there are many people out there that find anything above 4.8" to be somewhat intrusive. But, only two people I know have actually made a comment that they like one handed operation. Believe it or not, they were both under 20 yrs old and both are known for texting and driving. Hmmmmm......

Agreed. The whole argument about using a phone one handed is getting pretty tiresome. I think most ...
Re: GIVE ME A BREAK!
Ah, I see what you did there! :D
Well, not really
They cost "what they do" because Apple has an extremely high markup. They will still make a lot of money selling them for 1/2 price. Anyone who thinks Apple is doing this solely because they "care about their customer's safety" is naive.
Re: Well, I own both of them....
If you have read any of Blue's older posts, you would see a pattern of slamming the Android OS and Android phone manufacturers. This despite the fact that many of these phones were very positively received and thoroughly reviewed by professional sites. His posts are more often than not confrontational, in an attempt to draw a response. The very definition of bias.
Re: Development
Please don't encourage his fantasy. Blue is a known troll from way back.
Re: Well, I own both of them....
"Well, I own both of them...." and anyone who has been following your posts for the last couple years knows how totally objective and unbiased you are. Please.
What comes around goes around, Apple!
I doubt if anything already in consumer's hands would need to be replaced, but this is sweet. Apple getting a taste of their own medicine. Perhaps they'll reconsider their Sue-happy strategy.
Too late
Kodak has already announced they are getting out of the digital camera business. Go find another hurting company to kick, Apple. A__holes!
Re: Q3 At the Earliest...
Pathetic. Please stop embarassing yourself...
"Apple argues that the terms are not fair."
Waa, waa, waa. Cry me a river Apple. What comes around goes around. Payback is sweet!
Re: Experts predict
You've had a hard on against HTC for a few years now, don't you ever get tired of being wrong? HTC makes some great products, but the real loser here is the consumer. Not everyone is in love with Apple vanilla. It's sad that some twisted interpretation of patent laws rather than fair competition in the marketplace can decide our choices.
Don't bother using logic with Blue
He would much rather have others think he it's right than to actually be right.
Re: Throttling
True enough. But as of now, one of their major selling points is that they neither cap nor throttle.
Re: Throttling
Sprint does not have a cap, soft or otherwise.
Re: Stinks to be HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson, Dell, etc...
"keep in mind this company hasn't produced anything groundbreaking in nearly a decade"
Wrong -- see original Droid
"Android isn't really 'open' , much of the source code remains proprietary."
Wrong -- you may have mistaken Android for Apple
"...or else they'll be trampled by Apple"
Wrong -- check latest figures for most popular OS
Facts are so darn inconvenient!
Re: Honestly
"Case closed"
More like "mind closed" when it comes to any company other than Apple. Fortunately a judge, not you, will have the final say on Apple's whining.
Btw, had a bagel the other say that was round. Maybe the English Muffin companies should file a lawsuit...

Does Samsung make a single phone that isn't crap?
No.
Hmm, I seem to remember you use to make the same (false) statements regarding HTC. Now that you've been proved wrong there, you move on to Samsung?
And as for Apple's claims that Samsung copied 'their' design -- since when is a rectangular shape with a glass screen somehow unique? Next thing you know Apple will be suing all the TV manufacturers, because after all, a ...
"... barely break 1 Mbps??"
Well I would be happy with that speed, or anywhere near it on my Incredible. In my area if I'm lucky I pull in about 400-500kbps. If 3G lived up to it's potential then I wouldn't complain, but at least 4G will give me some improvement.
Re: Told you. WiMax is a dead protocol walking.
No, it's not just you. The sheer ego of people who make statements such as "I told all of you this would happen" is simply amazing. As if we are to believe we're witnessing the Word of God.
Re: Isn't T-Mobile..
Except that Sprint has more Wimax coverage (40M people) than T-Mobile's entire customer base of 33M. Good try though.
Re: Told you. WiMax is a dead protocol walking.
Once again, you're wrong. But thanks for playing!
Re: Great news for the Vikings and the Stealers!
Why would you buy a phone from Clear rather than Sprint, since they use the same 4G network?
Re: So what's the problem?
Have you purchased a Moto X?
Re: No they aren't
Perhaps that's true where you live, but on this planet it's generally acknowledged that Verizon has better coverage.
Anyone in Rochester tried this yet?
How's it working? I'm considering an EVO, but not sure if the extra $10 is worth it. Also, one of the Sprint dealers said I could download an Android app to allow wireless tethering w/o needing to pay $30 for the Sprint Mobile Hotspot add-on. Does that sound right?
