Conditioning Lithium Ion batteries??!? filerx...?
A question I'm sure people here at Phone Scoop have wondered but were too afraid to ask.
Re: good or bad?
You must not have been someone in his eyes worth remembering. Kind of like you use them awhile then it is over the shoulder as Ministry would say. :D
Verizon or Nextel Push to talk,, Whose better?
Plus Sprint's HPPT/PTT is sub second. No one comes even close to that time.
any tricks or mods for Palm 755p from Sprint
Just make sure you mask off the LCD first.
Re: Best SIM card for access in Europe
Llama, your the greatest buddy!
Re: Great job...
Well said llama...kudos to you!
Conditioning Lithium Ion batteries??!? filerx...?
Li Ion batteries are pretty much maintenance free ones unlike niMH and NiCd batteries that need to be conditioned often.
Verizon or Nextel Push to talk,, Whose better?
Nextel Direct Connect on Sprint rocks!
Best SIM card for access in Europe
People who travel overseas llama probably have pondered this question so I feel my response is quite appropriate. Thank you for your support llama.
Great job...
It may be an oldie, but it still is a goodie. I'm sure people out there who would like to get their music made into a ring tone and commercially distributed, have this same question. I appreciate your support llama. I really do.
Okay, I have to share this

Sprint and Palm
Sprint only allows access to their network via one of their CDMA devices whether it is a wireless handset being used as a phone as a modem or a wireless air card/modem.
free songs in cell phones
You may wish to contact each of the wireless handset manufacturer's public relations and/or marketing departments.
Verizon or Nextel Push to talk,, Whose better?
Hands down people...Nextel's PTT is the fastest PTT out there in the market.
Best SIM card for access in Europe
I would recommend T Mobile as their are one of the largest European wireless carriers.
BLAME CANADA
It sounds like Zebrahead you may have some latent and repressed anger issues requiring closure and resolution. Please reach out for professional assistance with them before they escalate out of control.
Re: That's what
I meant anaconda, the huge snake that chased J Lo and Ice Cube as well as swallowed up Jon Vogt whole.
Rich, please close the thread before it becomes an acconda!
Thread response title says it all.
Re: IS BB 8130 going away?
I would. Most of the US wireless carriers are more than likely getting ready to deep six on the Pearl simply because the Curve is out, the Bold, the Storm, etc.
Re: New Updated Verizon Alltel Merger Map
I don't forsee Sprint purchasing these towers as a permanent asset as they have pretty much sold off the majority of them to American Tower and lease the towers back from American Tower. If anything, Sprint may purchase those towers and flip them over to American Tower. From my understanding of the whole wireless tower sale to American Tower, Sprint was freed up with capital that had been tied up in the physical towers.
Re: Mod People!!
I feel the moderators will concur with my thought....hopefully.
Water damage...Liquid damage... 6 of 1 or Half a Dozen...
The best term to use with customer is "liquid damage" and not "water damage". The reason I say mention this is I once had a recently commissioned US Naval lieutenant, strapping young man, come in one Monday morning into my store and stated he went partying at one of the gentle men's clubs over the weekend since he just graduated from OCS and said his Sanyo Katana/SCP-6000 mysteriously stopped working. Upon inspection, I discovered what appeared to be "water ...
Mod People!!
Both moderators drunk are quite impartial to the thread posted. I may be incorrect on saying this, but the moderators I feel give more than ample latitude in the content posted in the various threads. I have seen threads I though were started to burst the seams of decency, but apparently the moderators didn't feel they warranted deletion. One man's poison drunk is another man's meal. You may find yourself starving if you attempt to be toxic to Phone ...
BLAME CANADA
Do I sense a bit of jealousy in the air Zebrahead? Are you a white man wearing a black man's suit or it is the reverse?
Re: She blammed it on me!
Nothing like stepping on a duck to be a buzz kill on a potential sale.
The Sanyo Characters
No, Sprint had Sanyo brutally murder all the animals that once danced across the various handset of theirs and sell the animal parts on the seedy black market in China and Thailand.
Re: Dear mod people that moderate the site
I'm sure the majority of the Phone Scoop forum members would concur with me on saying that your thread about Canada without electricity did not have any relevance to the forum which in essence deals with the various wireless network, products and services of Canada. If you wanted to talk about Canadians without electricity, you probably would have best posted it in The Lounge.
Re: no, you can't
The only wireless devices that can be used with the major US wireless carriers like at&t after being unlocked are GSM ones. Very few unlocked CDMA devices are permitted for usage on Verizon Wireless and from my understanding, Sprint only allows CDMA devices that have been used on a contract service i.e. Helio, Kajeet and Virgin Mobile handsets can not be used with Sprint.
My reply
Thank you Rich for your input and clarification on this thread. It is appreciated. At least you have a way to track individuals through various means on the back end. By the way, cute MySpace picture.
WiMAX
I believe Edgar Allan Poe suffered that fate. Do you feel LTE is the future of 4G llama?
Re: Best overall service for wireless air card
Sprint with the free Compass 597 by Sierra Wireless. The Gizmodo Report had Sprint surpass the Big Deuce in terms of speed and signal.
Blackberry Storm
I'd steer clear of RIM's Blackberry Storm until the touch screen bugs and glitches are resolved. Personally, I'd steer clear of any handset device at the initial launch by a handset manufacturer venturing into uncharted waters as RIM did with their first touch screen Blackberry.
Re: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Ok, the FCC may have approved it, but apparently the device hasn't been certified by any of of the US wireless carriers that have deployed a GSM network. By the way, the cost of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 doesn't suprise me since the device is unlocked. This is actually one of the typical business models implimented overseas. Buy an unlocked GSM device and just purchase your wireless service from one of the many carriers by buying a SIM.
Re: Craziest picture on a phone
It'd been careful if the keypad was a bit sticky.
Re: no, you can't
HTC Touch Pro
Re: no, you can't
You spoke with a HP CSR and NOT with a Sprint one. There was the fundamental issue. We know our products and services, HP doesn't.
Best Buy Sale: Motorola M500
By the way llama, nice pectoral muscles in your Gravitar. :-)...
Re: does anyone have a clue?
According to RIM, they don't forsee any software up grades to their existing Blackberry line up with Sprint to allow picture mail/mms services.
What is the best cell phone you ever owned?
Unless you travel extensively abroad, CDMA by far whoops the tar our of GSM i.e. better range in signal propogation, clearer voice quality, faster data rates and larger capacity for handling calls.
