Yes you can do that, but if you swap it out to your line within the 30 day trial period and it has a Mail In Rebate, keep in mind that this WILL void the $100 rebate!! If you keep it on your sons line for 30 days then swap it to yours, the rebate will be sent out. Just a heads up!

If you go into a repair center, they have a small budget of times per month management can over ride a different model, and it isnt the typical guy throwing a fit and wanting to cancel. Once they run out of that budget then theres not much they can do. In most cases they offer an early upgrade before the WEL violation and swapping different models.

I think youre doing it wrong, you have to go to: -------> "My Device And Media" -------> "Messaging" -------> "Block Texts" I just tried it that way and it didnt give me any errors. I would log off and try it again

I would jump on 2.2 As far as i know, theres no way to jump back to 2.2 But yeah you cant beat the service and the phone!! It really is awesome. I would check with the guy who sold you the phones to see if he has the corporate code so you can get that added on there if it is a company promotion through Wireless Solutions

I found it was only a 15% discount, but go to a corporate Sprint store and give them this: NARAC_ZZZ The code for Enterprise Rent-A-Center. Its easier to do it at a store. Ask them about ReadyNOW to answer all your questions about the phone. Yep you can pay your bill early and there is no charge at all to do so. And YES, i would definately upgrade to Android 2.2 its official now and fixed a couple of bugs, ...

Yep its 15% for any current or former veteran in any US branch. Also most city and government employees get 15% off. If youre in the Air Force, thanks for your sacrifices to our country!!

If I were you, get the serial number and check it in with care, then call care to get the MSL from the phone. Call the guy and have him hit ##MSL# and see if it brings up a menu. If it does, buy it. If it doesnt, its been flashed to another provider like Cricket or Metro and although you can still "activate" the phone in Sprints system, you cant program it with your phone to use it. ...

Re: Spending Limit Program Charge

if you sign up for autopay it'll remove that charge. Sprint is the only one that has this Spending Limit for customers. Imagine your limit is $150, and you go over your minutes by $1000. Other companies will keep charging you and normally wont notify you when you go over. Sprint on the other hand shuts off your service once you pass the limit to help keep the account balanced. Hope this helps. Its kinda like your limit on ...

I say go with the Pre. I love the phone and feels really solid. The browser is getting Flash, which will help when youre online browsing etc. The OS is really fun and actually well thought out. The Tour is nice, but then again its just another Blackberry. But I love both, but overall i would personally pick the Pre. I suggest go into a Sprint store and check out both before you buy!

I don't have a Facebook, but I think there should be an option to "unlink" each contact. I think you have to go one by one tho, not sure. I'll try to check into it and get back to you.

Also the Pre has a proximity sensor, so when you put it close to your face it turns off the screen so your face isnt pushing any buttons. I think you mentioned this on another thread, not sure tho :P

Trust me you'll like the Pre. I have it, i had the Tour and it felt like any other Blackberry. I check here often if you have any questions! Wifi is on the Pre which the Tour doesnt, the OS of the phone is really smooth, especially with the new update. What features do you use most?

The only issue i say you might run into, is the slide. Normally people slide it up by holding down the middle of the phone, but this creates pressure in the little hinges and in time will get harder and harder to slide up. The best way to slide it up is right at the bottom, right below the launcher button. Other than that you should be fine. I "try" to baby mine, and i daily shove it in ...
