Palm Pre or Blackberry Tour/Curve?
Hey everyone, hoping for some solid advice. I renewed my sprint plan back in March and picked up the Samsung Instinct. Well in a nutshell, I hate it and it is driving me nuts. I could go on, but let's get to the meat of my question.
I'm considering picking up a new or slightly used Palm Pre or Blackberry Tour or Curve off of ebay. Which would you think might be better suited for my needs and which is a more stable and solid phone? I mostly use my phone for texting, a few emails and I also like to go online mostly to check facebook/fantasy football and occasionally watch something on NFL Network.
Any and all input would be much appreciated before I drop $$ on another phone.

I say go with the Pre. I love the phone and feels really solid. The browser is getting Flash, which will help when youre online browsing etc. The OS is really fun and actually well thought out. The Tour is nice, but then again its just another Blackberry. But I love both, but overall i would personally pick the Pre. I suggest go into a Sprint store and check out both before you buy!

Thank you for the input. I got antsy and got a good deal on a brand new blackberry curve on ebay. But, after using it now for a little over a week, I just don't think I'm a blackberry person. I did go into a store now and checked out a pre, and they seem pretty slick. Maybe I'll give the curve another week or two, but I think I might just pick up a pre off ebay soon.

if i could advise, i wouldnt get one from Ebay, id get it out straight out from Sprint along with Phone insurance. the Palm Pre, which in my opinion has the most amazing OS, has bad build quality.
Or Wait for Summer to hit, theres been talk of a new palm phone to come out, and you can get $75 off, since you passed the year mark. and you can save the money you were going to use for buying a Palm Pre, to buy a new phone.

Since youre a premier customer you get $150 off this coming March, so if I were you I'd wait till you hear more about Sprints upcoming phones.
Theres a Tour2 coming out, along with rumors of a new Palm phone, and an Android phone with Wimax thats simliar to the HTC HD2.

if you go the ebay rout get the esn/dec number first other wise you could get screwed. i work for sprint and if i were you i would go with the pre.
