Palm Pre?
My hubby got a new Palm Pre for Xmas. He loves it. My question is I've heard they may have an "upgraded" model coming out soon. A Sprint store employee mentioned a Palm Pre Pro, but had no more details. Anyone heard of this or have any ideas?
I know VZW is releasing the phone and its supposed to be slightly different (more memory) is what I've read. Does anyone know if Sprint will follow?

I LOVE my Pre, i know your husband will be completely happy with it. Im sure he was happy with it! But ive heard of the Palm Pre Plus which again, is said to have more memory but even the Palm CEO said theyre going to concentrate on those 2 and "keep the webOS family small" so im guessing thats the Verizon version. Not to worry, i have 300 songs and 2 movies and 5 music videos. I still have 3 or 4 GB's left! i never plan to use them either, so anyone using past 8GB's is nuts because they'll never actually use all of it. My cousin has his 32GB iPod and never even close to the whole 32GB limit. hes crazy lol thats just my opinion 😉

How is the build quality of the Pre? Have you had any issues with yours? My husband takes pretty good care of his phone, but he does work in production and is on and off a forklift all day. So he has been slightly worried with the hardware after reading some of the reviews. Any info you could share would be great. Thanks.

The only issue i say you might run into, is the slide. Normally people slide it up by holding down the middle of the phone, but this creates pressure in the little hinges and in time will get harder and harder to slide up. The best way to slide it up is right at the bottom, right below the launcher button. Other than that you should be fine. I "try" to baby mine, and i daily shove it in my pocket full of keys and change. It doesnt have a single scratch, and I dont have any screen protectors on it or anything. He should be fine I love my Pre. Make sure to every now and then take out the battery and clean out the back cover, because it gathers alot of dust and you dont want it to ruin the speaker.
