Help me chose between these three sprint phones!
Overlook my username, I was the prodical son that came back to Sprint because they're awesome. Anyway, i came back and got the Samsung Moment, and do not like it. The battery dies very fast, and yes I've conditioned it and it still dies within three hours because I use it a lot. It's also sluggish. So, I'm returning it today but I can't decided between the Tour or the Pre. I've wanted the Pre since it first came out, but I've been a Blackberry Man since 2006 and thought I'd never have anything else. I just came off of the new Blackberry Bold 9700 from TMO, and didn't really care for it, it seemed cheapened from the original Bold. So, what's better, the Pre or Tour? Also, my calls get dropped a lot, and alot of times, my internet isn't even available. My face also mutes calls, ebcause it doesn't dim while next to my face like it's supposed to. There's not setting onthe phone to change this either. I've read another person is having the exact same problems as me, so it's good to know it's not just me!

Trust me you'll like the Pre. I have it, i had the Tour and it felt like any other Blackberry. I check here often if you have any questions! Wifi is on the Pre which the Tour doesnt, the OS of the phone is really smooth, especially with the new update. What features do you use most?

Also the Pre has a proximity sensor, so when you put it close to your face it turns off the screen so your face isnt pushing any buttons. I think you mentioned this on another thread, not sure tho 😛

Pre sucks. I activated it for 20 mins and couldn't stand it. Extremely awkward phone.

Well, I got the Pre and like it a lot. But there are some things I don't like about it. I absolutely hate this contacts option where it pulls all of my contacts from facebook, email account etc and puts it all in one place. I ONLY want my phone contacts to show in my contacts folder, people I call. I don't care about having people I graduated with from high school 15 years ago in my contacts on my cell phone, just because they're on my face book. How do I get rid of them without deleting them on my actual facebook? Also, how do I change the email address on my palm profile, the profile that I set up when I turned the phone on for the first time? I had originally put in my work address, but my work email will not set up on my phone bec...

Thanks for the replies, so how do you delete them individually? I try to delete them from my facebook and it says unable to delete facebook profile contacts. Same with email. I can delete the regular contacts though. Or, is there a way I can filter out the view so that it only shows phone contacts that I add?

I don't have a Facebook, but I think there should be an option to "unlink" each contact. I think you have to go one by one tho, not sure. I'll try to check into it and get back to you.

You can actually remove the Facebook contacts from your profile. Go to your CONTACTS list from your launcher. Click the drop down menu from the top left hand corner, select Preferences & Accounts, then select the Facebook account and in the next screen click REMOVE ACCOUNT. This will remove the Facebook contacts only!!!
