Motorola RAZR V3m
Average Ratings
good phone BUT
well i had this phone for about a week and sent it back. i got the SAMSUNG a900. the a900 is better for camera/video/texting/screen/thinner
the ketchup strikes again ^-*
You would think it'd be better
So i've never really been a motorola fan even when i was on other carriers then Sprint. But this phone falls way short of even decent. it has two major flaws 1.It's operating system/general operation is SO SLOW 2.It crashes and freezes up several times.
pros:
design:super sleek and buttons look sweet
camera quality is really good.
speakerphone is really loud for half-duplex and size.
reception is really good in N VA under sprint
cons:
OS very slow and buggy
random freezes and lock ups
no flash on camera
feels very fragile
side buttons are somewhat hard to push sometimes.
no headphone jack...charging and everything is done via 5pin usb port.
in addition to the other problems i've also had to reprogram the phone twice in one week, it actually lost all the network information
Just another Moto
Wow, The only reason everyone thinks this phone is great is because it kick-started motorolas new style but the older moto phones arnt much different than the RAZR, SLVR, and the KRZR (by the way the way they spelled is cool, but ridiculous)the newer phones include a couple of new things, camera, blutooth, and MMS but the new revolution of MOTO, speaking from opinion they are all the same
Warranty is a joke
I didn't check out this phone before I purchased it. I have had it for 3 months and suddenly while flipping it open the display stops working. I take it to the Verizon store to be told that they cannot warranty it due to the fact that it's been wet. The phone has never touched water. So I'm told that it could be any kind of moisture including sweat or perspiration. I decided to check the Motorola warranty and sure enough it actually states in the water that sweating on your phone is abuse/misuse and is not covered. I'm wiser now and realize that if a phone can be damaged that easily it's not worth having and am going to make it a point to tell everyone that I know how fragile this phone is. I think they should have done a better job with it so that it would be more durable. The way I see it you couldn't even use this phone in the summer time at all outdoors. Just one frustrated owners opinion. I have a phone that I cannot get warrantied due to moisture that I didn't even know I was exposing it to. What a joke.
TERRIBLE
I was really excited when I purchased this phone, I thought it was the closest thing to the Motorola Star-tec(which I loved). On the first day I knew I wouldnt keep it.
Pros:
Telnav(GPS application)
Size
Cons:
Battery life was terrible, couldnt get through 1 full day.
UI was very slow
Not enough options
Available ringers sucked
The external memory card was very hard to take in/out
I hated it, I'm going back to the Samsung A900m.
