Anyone Have This Phone Yet?
I'm just wondering if anyone has this phone yet. I love Verizon and its great service (in L.A.) but if this phone is as great as it seems to be I may just switch out to Cingular. If anyone has it please respond. Thanks

Well i work for an agent and our cost is 350. We take a 100 dollar phone hit just to sell it to you for that price, so is it worth it? i damn well hope it is. We get ours tomorrow. To me, any phone with a 9 hour talk time, camera, itunes capability and an mp3 player with external memory

we just got it in our store today. it looks nice and it has a lot of features. it also comes with a 3.5mm adaptor and a data cable. its not heavy at all and isnt too big either. the only down side is that 512mb is the max for transflash(at this time). if you dont have an ipod and are looking for both i think its worth the money.

I havent' ordered mine yet. I need to do that first thing in the morning. I'm not too sure about the talk time though. I have yet to see a Moto that really peaks out like they say it does.
My V551 sure never got 7 hrs of talk time like they claim. I have to charge mine every other night and my husband has the same problem with his.
I'll just have to see it to believe it.

I had it for less than 24 hours and i had to return it. It was soo slow and it just wasn't my dream phone.

If I may ask, how is it slow? Do you expect it to run at 1.5 ghz and have 512mb of ram? It's a phone!
I think it's a great phone! The speakers sound great, the bluetooth works well, and it has no problem getting reception in the building I work in; every other phone drops calls.
The user interface has changed enough that it takes a little getting used to, but the phone turned out to be sooooo much better than I expected.

I have to agree with the menu being slow...i noticed it especially when i was sifting through the songs.
The other thing that bugged me is how bad the iTunes integration is. I was using iTunes 5.0, but it actually DROPPED the rokr from the list, so that each time you would plug the phone in, it wouldn't show up in iTunes...it would just show up as a drive in my computer (which if you are used to ipods you know means you cannot load music). I had to hook it up to a different computer to make it work again with iTunes.
Frankly, that worries me...if i noticed a problem that quickly the first time i was loading it up, that means my customers who buy them are going to have a ton more issues. And believe me, i will not be doing iTunes/ROK...

Well that is moderately true but in order to possibly give you a solution for that problem I would need to know if you are using a pc or Mac.
If it's a mac then run the software update that is in the apple icon on the top left.
If it's a pc then check the flash seating and the usb settings in the phone.
