No sound from Jabra BT150

Pairing and use was originally fine. Then for some reason, the phone asked to re-pair with the 150. Since then I have no sound from the headset except for a click at line connection & termination. So, on a new call, I hear a click in the headset, but then nothing. Volume is up.

I have repaired, recharged, and cycled the power, but no luck.

Suggestions?

Outlook folder refresh hangs

I have XV--6700 using WirelessSync. Also am using ActiveSync to pull other Outlook folders over (my ISP only keeps the Inbox). Yesterday all worked.

Now, when I select Inbox (or Sent, ..) the window header (two pull downs) and footer (x items, y unread) display and function, but the window of emails is not rendered. I still see the prior window. Yet it is active--I can click near the top and the first email opens.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Internal Memory / Mini SD Memory

I know all files should be stored on the Mini SD and all applications on the device itself. What if you run out of internal memory and want to install other applications? Any harm in installing these on the Mini SD itself? Will the program run properly if not stored on the internal memory? What applications SHOULD be stored on the internal memory versus the Mini SD?

Any recommendations on certain programs that are a must to have for this XV-6700?

I still have not received the 2 GB Mini SD I ordered on 2/02/06. I am planning ahead so I have the software when I finally receive my Mini SD.

Thank you to those responding.

XV 6700 and Bluetooth-ready BMW's

I just leased a 2006 BMW 330Cic convertible. It comes with Bluetooth built in to the steering wheel controls, and paired up with my XV 6700 immediately, but:

a) the address book didn't load into the car "kept saying "empty"

and

b) MS Voice command doesn't work through the car.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? In all fairness, the BMW Bluetooth manual doesn't say this is a supported phone for compatibility with the car, but bluetooth is bluetooth...

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

DO NOT BUY THE PLASTIC BELT CLIP

As I was reading below, and I noticed that other's mini SD cards were popping out, I figured I'd mention my troubles with the belt clip.

The clip itself is nice- very strong- but the part that holds the top of the phone in is as wide as the SD card, and when you slide the phone out top first, it literally pops the SD card out. The first time I did it, it sent it flying across a table I was sitting at... So, unless you're in the mood to see flying cards, I would not buy this clip-

Finding more "mobile" sites

I am having a really hard time finding some mobile websites. I mean, its cool that PIE can display a regular webpage. But for example, when I had a regular Sprint phone (Sanyo 5600), I had a nice mobile version of CNN.

Now I can't get CNN to work for the life of me. And no, I am not interested in AvantGo when I had Wifi and EVDO.

I even used my old Sprint phone and went to:
http://mobile.cnn.com/xhtml/en/us/i.html »

And it wont let me view it. Even though I did it right there on my Sanyo! They must be only allowing certain IP blocks (from Sprints network) and maybe even reading the User Agent.

So does anybody have a list of good mobile websites or a website (which I can access from my 6700) that has a categorized list of links? Ma...

2 Problems- Bluetooth and Windows Media Player

Hello all-

Ive had the phone for two weeks now, and I can't seem to get these two items to work.

1st: Bluetooth GPS- I'm not familiar with bluetooth in Windows 2005, so I can create the partnership, but I can't connect to the GPS. I hit "Scan for GPS" in my GPS program on the 6700, but nothing is there. In 2003SE, you could highlight the GPS in bluetooth manager and hold and press connect. Now you can't...

Any ideas?

Second: Windows media player freezes on me. I copied and pasted roughly 50 songs onto a 1gb Sandisk Mini SD. When I click my music while on storage card, it freezes, and I have to soft reset to get back. Also, if I update library, it sees the files, and then as it updates, it freezes as well. I believe the card wo...

An easy question about Wi-Fi??

I'm not too familiar with all this...

Does Wi-Fi capable mean you can browse the net on your phone using my house's wi-fi hook up (i.e. without using broadband data usage and therefore much faster)?

Also, it is easy to hook up this phone so that I can use have internet on my laptop anywhere my phone gets service using Verizon's broadband connection? Do I have to have extra hardware or does the USB hookup work for this?

Thanks alot for any help before I buy this great looking phone!

New User

Hey,

I am in the process of purchasing a new VX6700 and i have never had a smart phone. I have gone to the verizon store and played with it and it is pretty cool. Currently i have a V710 and carry a Palm Zire 71 and i love the idea of putting them . Now the few questions i have are as follows:

1. This has wifi and if you are a person who does not need instant e-mail acess can you survive with out getting the data plan.

2. I noticed that when you turn the phone from normal to landscape it is pretty slow transaction. Is there a way to fix that?

3. Now i know this has a mini SD card holder and wat is the higest amount of memory you can get?

4. If you buy Micorsoft voice command does that work on this phone?

well i think this a...
