Just upgraged to the new software and I can't load ringtones using MPT. I have tried changing the phones which used to work but that won't work either. Did VZW disable this in the razr just to make money? Please help

MP3s as ringtones

I'm thinking about purchasing this phone, but my main concern is placing an MP3 from your PC as a ringtone. How is this done? Can I just take the MP3 from the PC straight to the phone?

Share Charger with H500?

Is it same to use the the RAZR wall charger for the H500 and vice versa? They have the same USB connector but it looks like they have different power specs.

What about using the RAZR car charger for the H500?

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE?

I recently purchased my razr and i am happy with everything but the volume on the ringtones. The sound on the regular ringtones is great, but when I record one and someone calls me the ringtone is almost silent. Now for my question, does anybody know how I can make it louder when someone calls.

NYC: Verizon vs cingular

I would like to get a Razr, but as far as I can tell the UI is better on the Cingular Razr? Is this correct? If so, how is Cingular coverage and reception in NYC and in Maine?

Adding Contacts to groups

I just received my Razr V3c. I have a question on groups in the contact list. I group my contacts. I tried to group them on the new phone, and after a few contacts it indicates my group is full; any help would be appreciated.

Version 4 and Navigator

I am tickled to death with the new software. Enough said about that so I won't go into it. Anyhow, I downloaded the Navigator with low expectations. Was I wrong! The applications works great and I can be voice prompted through bluetooth. What more can I ask for? With my extended battery and new firmware, I am in heaven.

Unbranded/Unlocked V3C

Anybody else have any luck getting an unbranded V3C from motorola activated on Verizon's network? I just bought one on Ebay and am praying that it will work, otherwise I will have to say goodbye to the V3C forever...Death to standardized UIs... 😈

.05 Software Coming??

I called my local Verizon Store to see if I could get my phone flashed with the new .04 software. The lady says that we have the .04 software but it tends to freeze up your phone. She says she is waiting for the Verizon to send them new software so it will fix the freezing problem. Could this be the .05 software?? Thanks

Verizon network doesn't support MEGAPIXEL phones ?!?!

Just got back from vacation and started uploading pics from my V3c to my PC via the verizon network. (I use a regular digital camera for most vacation pics, but when it is not handy I do use my phone sometimes)

Can you imagine my surprise when I found out that about 20% of my pictures won't upload because they are "too big"? I take all my pics at the maximum resolution (1280 x 1024) because that is the size of my PC monitor, so they make good wallpaper or slideshow images.

After some online research I found out that Verizon has a size limit of 300Kb for Pix messages on their network. Since the pictures are JPG encoded, their file size will change depending the content of the picture This means that a 1Mpixel picture can possibly ex...
