I would like to get a Razr, but as far as I can tell the UI is better on the Cingular Razr? Is this correct? If so, how is Cingular coverage and reception in NYC and in Maine?

I've had the razr with Cingular and I easily got used to the Moto UI. The phone itself has VERY good reception in NYC, I'm not too sure about Maine but I've travelled from NJ into upstate NY and into Canada and it was working fine. Few deadspot areas but even Verizon has a few deadspots.

I ported my number to Verizon from Cingular and got the v3c and I'm still getting used to the Verizon UI. It's an "okay" UI but I rather have the Moto one. There are many hacks and mods out there to accomplish this but I just don't wanna mess with the phone.

Cingular service in my house, even with a quad-band razr was not good enough either. But that's just my problem, NYC reception with any carrier is amazing since it's a metropolitan area.
