Nokia 6235i / 6236i

I've been reading VZW stores won't be carrying this phone. I'm already under a Verizon contract as a $9.99/month added line on a family plan. Are indirect retailers willing to sell these phones at promotional prices of $29.99 to me? I'm under the impression that a lot of these dealers will only sell at that price for new service plans, that is, not to existing customers like me.

Btw, I'm located in Manhattan and I haven't seen any of these around yet, not at Verizon, Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, or authorized dealers.

Anyone know how it is possible people could be selling it already if Verizon isn't even selling it?

it is not released to the corporate stores, but to the "indirect" verizon stores like us.
the corp stores will have it next week
we have already activated about 25-30 today in our stores, so no problems activating it

Seems like its the same drill as da 6256i.. available at first online an' fo' new activations only, then available to anyone at Best Buy (an' maybe in-store at Radio Shack) a few days later.

I was just wondering, I recieved a Nokia 3155 dummy phone and noticed it had a smaller port than the usual Nokia charging ports. I havent seen the 6235, but I did noticed that there was a different charger for it on some websites and was wondering if it would have the smaller charging port just like the 3155. Anyone know? What about games on this phone? Are there any?

Does anyone know how to unlock the Nokia 6235i from MetroPCS to work on the Verizon Wireless Network?

We got the rebate forms for the 6236 (VZW) in our shipment today.

the nokia 6235i is available now for metropcs $159 if you order it online with the first month of service included. As always no contracts with MetroPCS.

Does anyone know more about this phone's availability on Verizon Wireless? Any known timeline from a Nokia rep?

The only problem is Nokia wants everyone that carries there CDMA phones to offer the Nokia 6255i. Verizon is really not that interested for some reason (BLUETOOTH???). They only want 6235i. So if Verizon does not get both phones they may not get this one either. 😢 👿

Just got off the phone with nokia and they said they are not going to carry this phone they are going to carry that other Nokia phone its a flip phone i cant remember the model number i THINK its the 6252i im not sure it has bluetooth and stuff like that
