Question on PC connectivity...
Example: can I download all my ringers tones, address book, document files, software, etc. To my PC for backing up purposes?
I'd be pretty annoyed if I bought it and found that it was like my Audiovox CDMA 9500 which couldn't back-up ring tones, or any files, or even allow me to upload my own images.

Bluetooth solution
Here is what works for Bluetooth: I tried every Bluetooth headset on the market (that is available on West Coast) the only one that really works with the 6601 is the Motorola HS810; the reason it works is you can turn the headset off by closing the mouth piece.
The way to make it work every time is the tricky part. Once the two are paired and you use the headset to make a call if the phone goes in sleep mode your headset will not work again until you un-pair and then re-pair or you reset your phone. To avoid this follow these steps:
To make a new call:
1.make sure you close the mouth piece on the headset before your phone ...

Len Lauer (President of Sprint PCS) Question
If any sprintpcs employee read this Please forward it up the chain as high as you can thank you
Will Sprint PCS ever release the Audiovox 6600(PPC-6600 The one With the Camera)?
Please stop delaying this phone/pocket pc and just release it.
Hopefully it will support EVDO and Wifi
Hopefully somebody at Sprintpcs management level will read this.
I would hate for Verizon to release this phone and for sprintpcs to end up with egg on their face again. Remember the Samsung i700 and sprints reply the G1000 (brick).
Come on sprint please make everybody happy and stay one step ahead of verizon and RELEASE IT. Then you can advertise the 6600 in all the magaz ...

A few questions before I buy
1. I have several email accounts through multiple companies I am associated with. Can this device support multiple accounts? If so, will the replys come from the appropriate domain name?
2. Currently using a Dell PPC. I use ACT as my contact manager. I was able to buy "ACT for PPC" which made the Microsoft Active Sync a little smoother. With this work on this phone?
3. I currently work with a laptop, which is usually with me when I am mobile. What will I need to do to receive my emails if my laptop is off and with me?
Thanks again.

I am torn between the Audiovox PPC-6600 and the treo 650
I have a I-Mac with bluetooth built in
Can i sync this one to my mac with out any problems and use entourage(MACS version of outlook) or I-sync
And does sprint charge extra for using windows based sotware vs treo which uses palm software?

Q on headphone Jack and battery life
I am really seriously thinking of getting this phone but I would like to know if you can plug in a standard headphones in the phone and listen to MP3 in stereo ? I know I won't be able to make a call like this but I travel a lot and having the option on the plane to use this as a mp3 player would be really nice. especially if I can use my Bose noise cancelling headphones ?
Next Q is what is battery life really like ?

December 16, 2004; Page B1
The most important development this year in U.S. wireless communications wasn't the headline-grabbing mergers of various wireless carriers. It was the quiet, gradual rollout by Verizon Wireless of a technology called EV-DO, which for the first time is providing broadband-speed Internet access over the air from anywhere in the cities where it has been deployed.
This new Verizon network, which the company calls "BroadbandAccess," promises users in 18 cities so far that they can get on the Internet at typical speeds of between 300 and 500 kilobits a second. That's the equivalent of w...
