Nokia 6255i / 6256i

It doesn't seem to say in the stats (or perhaps I just missed it) - does anyone know if you record video with the phone, does it record sound to?

this is coming out late this year, and it doesn't have a megapixel camera... what's up with that? everything else is cool though.,...

must be one of the plainest looking phones around, but at least it's not bad looking, just not exciting. But there has got to be more features packed into this thing than any other non pda phone ive seen. Can't wait to sell it, cause if it's under two hundred it will be a blockbuster. Nokia+BT+MP3+Camera/Camcorder? you have got to be kidding me

does anybody know for sure if this phone has a megapixel camera or not? This phone has so many features, I hope they didn't slack on the camera quality... I'm really looking foward to getting one after I switch to Sprint.

also, will this be compatible with Ev-DO networks once they're up? anybody know?

How much will it be and will it still be out with verzionin November 2005 because that's when i get my upgrade?

Since most of you guys were talking about Sprint vs. Verizon, I assume you are all from the States.

I was wondering, maybe NokiaTech knows, if it will be released here in Canada. To my knowledge, we have two CDMA carriers: Telus and Bell.

Now if this phone is not released here in Canada, will it be possible to purchase an unlocked unit?

Finally, another phone to compete with the v710. If verizon is smart, they will jump up and grab this phone to diversify their line-up. I know I am just restating the obvious, but Verizon clearly has the best service, but the drop dead ugliest phones I have seen.
Well those are my two cents.

I know that this site says Q4 but I was just reading a quick "snapshot" on the V710 at mobileburn and it says that both phones are expected to be released around the same time!!!...
I guess wait and see as usual for anything to hit our shores with B-tooth....

It has cdma2000 1xRTT which is verizon's signature.
Sorry fellas, Sprint continues to suck
As their name implies, Sprint keeps you sprinting for even a measley single bar for service

This would definatly make up for the Sony-Eriksson T608 fiasco. Sprint always has the coolest phones, and the only thing missing in our lineup is a cool bluetooth phone. I see Verizon getting that Motorola CDMA bluetooth phone (V710) because they always carry Motos. Sprint is just now re-kindling their relationship with them, but is 2 years strong with Nokia, and has just released the PM6225 cameraphone from them. So I think the 6255 will be the new flagship for the holiday season... hopefully sooner!

this is one ugly phone... I think nokia needs to revamp their design team...

i wanna know if this would work with t-mobile if it is unlocked. or do i have to wait untill nokia makes a gsm version??

Anybody know which carrier gets this phone? I know it says 4th quarter, but if it's VZW, then which year.
