Lately I'm getting a terrible case of my phone randomly restarting. It started with roughly once a week, then continued to once every few days, then became unbearable at once a day. I decided to take it to Sprint and they upgraded my software, and it just made it worse: 12 times in 2 days. So I just got a refurb one. NO change. Just reset no more than 3 hours after getting this phone. Anyone else have this problem/a solution to it?
I notice that since I upgrade my rim9630 to the new sofware whenever i go on-line and i am clicking the links is not going through i have to press 4 to 5 times in order for it to go through. It is not just one web site, it is in all of them. is anybody else experiencing this problem? is there a solution for it?
This is directed toward anyone who has downloaded either of these browsers onto his Tour. Have you found that websites that froze upon downloading, using the BB browser, now download fully utilizing either Opera Mini or Bolt?
I have a bunch of contacts created and in the past when I started to type a To address in the e-mail application it would pop up with all the matches and let me select one (eg: I have a contact named Aaron and when I typed aa in the To: field it would pop up with AAron and Aadam and another other matches if any existed). Suddenly the other day that feature simply went away ... now I type in 'aa' and nothing happens. I literally have to type in the full e-mail address even though it's in my contact list.
- reboot - battery pull with device on - doing Alt 'rbld' in Contacts
I downloaded BOLT browser. For the most part it is faster. I call my Blackberry browser my old reliable though. I seem to get random issues with Bolt. Does anybody ever click a link and it routes you elsewhere.
I am new to BB, and really liking it so far. I have a question about email though. The phone is for personal use and I wanted to know what(if any) free (yahoo, gmail, hotmail) email service works best with it? Thank you
I set custom sounds (custom profile)for my text messages and it will not ring in the holster/case. The default text ringtone works fine. I have the latest software in the phone. Anyone else have this problem?
OK I'm looking for some feedback about the Tour- like my calendar, contacts on the Palm and I use Microsoft Outlook on my pc to save and update all this data (I DO NOT have a live server account with Outlook -just use it to save my contacts, calendar, tasks, etc).
So... would I be able to transfer all that to a Blackberry.....I know it does not have outlook....but some blackberry version?
How would I add and update appointments if I were able to transfer all this info over?
I'd love to know. Have other questions but will post later. Thanks for the help.
Any other tips about the calendar/contacts syncing would be appreciated.
Is there anyway to delete an archived application? My sales person downloaded nav4all to show it to me and it doesnt work and I had gotten weather bug and it keeps freezing my phone. I deleted it and now they show archived. Anything I can do?
