Do you think you could do another one that actually speaks to its phone characteristics? Like reception, clarity of voice (both what you hear and how others hear you), volume...those kinds of things that make a phone a phone.

Does anyone know the release day for Sprint?? Do you think it will be the same price as verizon's?? I have heard so much about the phone and was curious when I saw on here the release date for Verizon...so I am hoping someone out there knows that Sprint release date...please let me know.

I was wondering how good is the camera and is the video unlimited? Also how much does it cost without activation?

The verizon description says it has headset, handsfree, OBEX for vcard and images. What else is left?

Hello!? The K1m(usic) is a music phone, with dedicated music buttons on the front, stereo speakers, memory card expansion, and headphone jack adapter.

Of course it has an MP3 player. Jeez, the misinformation on these forums is baffling sometimes. 😎

Also, I thought that there was a $50 mail-in rebate, online they typically show the rebates as Online Discounts. However, I see only a flat price of $199, no disount/rebate. Any thoughts?

I bet I will be the only one get this phone on prepay inpluse because I'm going 2 buy the phone at full retail go to another store to get a fefill and activate it on my own when I get home that $35 activation fee is a ripoff and the phone gonna cost like $250-$300 without activation I wonder do other people know to activate it on their own

Since the chocolate is being upgraded with speakerphone soon (i heard next week), which phone is better in your opionion? Krzr or chocolate (w/ speakerphone).

KRZR K1m went on sale last night at 11:50 pm. this was 10 minutes before its release date. However, it only stayed on the site for 6 minutes. I was able to order mine, but many people were not able to. For some reason, it went away until nearly 1:15 am Thursday. Strange, but still, u have to give it to Verizon for being the first one to get the KRZR when they were the LAST at getting the RAZR. GO VERIZON!!!

I'm currently a 9800 user. I've always been intrigued by the Razr, and love the looks of the KRZR. I'm sick of having such a HUGE phone, however, I love the Qwerty Keyboard. I do have a ne2 to cash in as of about 2 months ago. Should I jump on board with the krzr, wait for the 9900 or the 8600. I'm almost in tears, I'm torn.

According to the specs, this phone does not have voice dial. Is that correct? Why would they go backwards on a feature such as this?

I logged into my account at about 11:50pm EDT and I clicked to upgrade my phone. The KRZR was there as an option, so I checked it (but it didn't let me finalize the upgrade).

Does anyone know for sure how thi sphone will sync with Outlook?

If Motorola is still using Motorola Phone Tools (from Avanquest Software) then count me out. MPT has got to be the most unreliable piece of software ever developed.

Would love this phone, but I need a reliable and consistent method to sync my Outlook contacts and calendar.

Anyone have any info?

I'd like to replace my MP3 player with this phone, but I use the radio on my MP3 player a lot. Does anyone know if there is any way to get FM radio on the KRZR? Is there a special headset or software?

Well I too believe it is true. I spoke with a customer service rep today, and asked what my cost would be to upgrade. He gave me all three prices:

No Contract: $349.00
1 Yr. Contract: $299.00
2 Yr. Contract: $199.00

I am not eligible for the NE2, so I specifically asked him about the non contract price. He told me it would be 349.00 should everything remain the same. He did cover his ass by saying, these prices are not set in stone because the phone has not yet been released, but this is what I have.

He did confirm the release dates as well...so we should see this tomorrow online. I think I will wait to see it in the store to see if they messed up the UI again like they did with the Razor. If the UI is the same as the Razor, I wo...

I plan on ordering this today, the dimensions look the same as the RAZR (which I am not a fan of) Why is this getting so much better hype, considering what a hunk of crap the RAZR is? Mind you I have never seen the KRZR in person --

The KRZR has just been announced for Verizon. It's going to be released online on 09/28 and in the stores on 10/05
