DOWNLOAD KRZR K1m DRIVERS!!!

If anyone was looking for the Motorola KRZR USB K1m drivers, you can get them from the link below:

http://skattertech.com/2006/10/moto-krzr-review-veri ... »

Verizon currently charges $30 for a common USB cable (which most people have) and the drivers. Install this on your WinXP (or 2000) machine. Once doing so your computer will double as a SECOND CHARGER! Plus when you want to sync your music just go to Get It Now -> Music & Tones -> Sync and this will make your phone popup as a portable music player in "My Computer" and in Windows Media Player!

Hope that helps!

KRZR--don't get the big deal!!!!??

I went out first this morning to see the KRZR in the store. As I do have to say it is a nice looking phone, I do not see what the big deal is about this. I was torn between the pink razr v3m and the motorola q but then saw that a krzr was being released today.

Can SOMEONE tell me what TO THEM is the most thrilling about this product? I currently have the e815 and have had not one problem with it but am due for an upgrade . Any help that anyone could give me (or any negatives) , I'd appreciate it! I have to go tomorrow to the store to get it!

Snooze feature?

So I'm one of those people that like to use their cell phones as an alarm clock, but I'm not seeing a way to make it snooze. My LGVX6000 would ring for 20 seconds then sleep for 5 minutes and go off every 5 minutes, you could also press a button to snooze.

Is there a similar feature on this phone that I'm over looking, or does it not exist?

Thanks!

signal strength

I went from thr Razr V3M to the KRZR KM1 and the same places that the vm3 had 4 bars of signal strenght the km1 has 3 and sometimes goes to 4 but does not stay. I was wondering if anybody else noticed this and if it is a problem or does the km1 receive signal different and this doesnt matter. I thought about taking it to a tech since it is only a day old but im not sure what they would do.

Love the phone but..

Can someone explain to me how itap works? Haha probably sounds silly but my last phone was the LG VX 7000 and it had T9word. Mainly I need to know a way to switch through words, like I want to type "me" and it says "of." T9 used the zero key but itap doesn't.. Any help appreciated

MPT KRZR Compatibility

I heard back from them via email today and this is a cut and paste quote from their email.

"The latest version 4.21a does not support the KRZR. A new version should be released within the next two weeks that will support this phone."

Probably be 3 or 4 weeks I bet, but at least it is on the way!

Often overlooked contact feature

I've been shopping for a replacement for my Nokia 6255i and considering the K1m. One selling point for my Nokia that I now consider a must have is the fact that I can assign any category I choose to multiple phone numbers for the same contact. This allows me to assign multiple work numbers to the same contact which a majority of new phones do not allow. They typically have a preset number of each category per contact. This is also a feature on the K1m. I have reviewed dozens of user manuals for this feature and find it is seldom mentioned. Something to think about, especially if you have many business contacts.
