Motorola KRZR K1m

When will the Verizon stores get the K1M? I want to see if before I purchase otherwise, I'd order on line.

I keep hearing rumors but no facts. Can you sync it with a pc for outlook contacts/calendar???
that's a strong selling point, at least to me, between this and the 8600 choco.

Hey I noticed that when I change the ringer volume, there is like zero difference in low and high and everything in between... how come???

what is the point of the "keypad volume" in the sounds settings? it comes out the speakerphone speaker while adjusting it, but only comes out the earpiece while actually using the phone... which makes it basically inaudible anyway. only way to hear it is to have speakerphone turned on. a little weird.

It is one slick looking machine! I'm checking it out and customizing. After I've had it a few days I'll post a review. When I went into the VZW store to have them swap the phone book from my RAZR the techs and customers were gawking. Actually drew a crowd!

I have noticed a few subtle changes in menus like bluetooth for one...easier to turn bluetooth power on and off. In a few days I'll report in greater detail.

i'm not ready to write a review yet because ive only had the phone for an hour but I'll answer anyones questions here.

I used my old transflash card from my V710 and when I put it in the phone it automatically formatted it so when I put it back in the computer there were folders named 'my pics', my sounds , my vids, and my music. I added a few songs to the my music folder put the card back into the phone and when I went to my music it added the songs to the music library on the phone pretty quickly. The outside buttons are really cool when lit up and they work great. The front is glass and within only 20 minutes I noticed that if i wanted to keep it looking fresh I need to buy a case or have a cloth to wipe off the fingerprints every t...

I just got my krzr, great phone, and there is no sample of music on it for the player. How do I test the player Download it or can I use ones I already have on my computer???

I went by a verizon store today to check if they would have the k1m on the fifth and the rep said that's what they are expecting. what i found a little odd was the fact that the rep seemed like she wanted to talk me out of buying this phone. 🤨 she listed reasons that everyone is aware of, such as glitches and complications that occur with every new phone that hits the market (she suggested that i should wait a couple of months so that these issues would be taken care of). she also mentioned that i should wait for the holidays because they should be offering a few new models that are worth waiting for. does anybody know what else verizon will be offering in the near future? i seriously want to upgrade to the krzr, so could anybody pro...

On my old V710 there was an option to have the speakerphone automatically switch off after 10 seconds. I can't find that option on the KRZR. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

SHould I buy the KRZR or stick with my original instinct of the pink RZR?

I also considered a pda ..either motorola q or palm treo 700W!

Any thoughts?

I have a V710, and I'm a little apprehensive about getting a new phone with the VZW UI. Without any flaming of VZW, can I have a brief description of how different the VZW UI is / how much worse it is?

anoyone know if there are file name length or other restrictions? i added some .mp3's on the flash card and they didn't show up until i shortened the name to test.mp3

btw, the sound is AMAZING on this for the mp3 player. i absolutly love the phone and will write a full review shortly.

stop whining about the red banner already, WHO CARES!

PC Mag was underwhelmed. Gave it 3.5 out of five (good). They were particularly disappointed by the call quality, which is after all, job #1.

Quote the Raven: "The KRZR suffered from poorer reception than the V3m. Although the phones did equally well in low-signal conditions, I got a few dBm lower readings on the KRZR in stronger-signal situations. Considering the earpiece audio is excellent, I'm hoping a future firmware update will fix this reception issue."

They left off the "Company Name" of my shipping address. This meant FedEx didn't deliver. I called FedEx and VZW to make sure the company is listed now.

Not sure if this is a systemwide bug or just a fluke, but I'd reccommend putting the company name (if you have one) on Address 1 and the address on Address 2, as it seems VZW doesn't care about the company section of the shipping address 😕

i can't believe verizon's version came out before cingular's (if the krzr is coming to cingular). it is such a beautiful phone. even though cingular's won't have to outside buttons and most likely won't look as nice, i can't wait to get it...i wish i was still with verizon so i could get this...ohhh well...

Can you guys please try to write coherent reviews? Periods, commas, and punctuation is needed...Some of you guys write at a 4th grade level... MAN UP.

Well, i got a surprise today. It came on friday (today) instead of monday like fedex said. I am in virginia and it arrived in richmond early so they delivered it. I am so excited and the phone is truely a work of art. The design is amazing and the interface is not too bad. Verizon did not abuse this phone at all. Cant wait to show it off to all my friends. Good luck to all 'yall with getting it soon. I predict since most phones were shipped early yesterday, then many people will get it today aswell. Good luck and enjoy.

Can anyone tell me whether you are able to record the called party's conversation on a call (like the v710) or can you only record your own voice during a call.
