The only way i found to remove gprs providers is to do a full reset of the handset using the menu option (can't remember where it is, but its there somewhere!).
You can then have the MMS settings etc. donwloaded direct to the handset by using the facility on the www.hellomoto.com website.
Note: After i did this MMS worked fine, but i've started to experience new problems e.g. bluetooth no longer works and the battery meter is doing some weird stuff!

In a different post some one asked which carrier is better. Some one said the following:
cingular is much better. we have rollover, better phones, and better mobile to mobile coverage.
Note the fact that the first thing you say is "WE HAVE ROLLOVER"....
Not everyone needs this. Everytime someone tells me to migrate from my ATT plan, they try to use ROLLOVER as their selling point. Then I explain to the that I have over 1000 mins every month & only use about 2/3 of them, so rollover is useless to me.
Another thing I have noticed is the bosting of "49.1 million & counting!". What is up with that .1? Its like "We became the best by purchasing AT&T Wireless... But that .1 makes us EVEN BETTER! M2M ROCKS!"
Also... who really cares how cool a phone is... its a PHONE, which makes PHONE calls & serves as a communication device. People in the 60's did not have battles over "I HAVE THE COOLEST LANDLINE PHONE! ITS HARVEST GOLD!"
Can anyone else try to think of a REASONABLE selling point besides M2M, Cool Phones & Rollover? What happened to the days when people used to boast their coverage & service?

The media plans ARE the only plans that are really changing that much for the worse, and that change does not go into effect until Feb 11th.
**NOTE** If you want a really good bundled media package, add the MEDIA WORKS package ($19.99/mo) by Feb 10th. As long as you have it, the company will not take it away from you. This includes UNLIMITED internet, 1500 text/instant msgs, & 200 multimedia (picture/video) msgs. On the 11th, if you want unlimited internet, you'll have to pay $24.99, and that will not include any text msgs or multimedia msgs. I've got the Media Works package so I can view MobiTV on my v220. This should be of interest to anyone who wants the s710a, because I was on the phone with someone from MobiTV last week who told me that as soon as they can get their hands on a s710, they will be working to make MobiTV available for it.
As far as the $9.99 secondary lines... Those aren't going anywhere. If you already have it, you will not lose it. As of the 11th, new accounts will have to have a base rate of $69.99 to get the secondary for $9.99 (hence, a new plan to be added, as there is not currently a $69.99 national plan).

Every wireless customer in the world and every wireless carrier in the world says the same thing about Cingular's Rollover- "You don't really need it".
Until the very first time the customer goes over the minutes.
At that point, the customer always says the same thing-"I wish my carrier had rollover minutes, too".
It is a HUGE selling point for Cingular.
They are willing to lose on ARPU in order for their customers to use minutes that they have already paid for.
No other carrier does that: It makes them lose money on overage.
From what you are saying, you sound like a Verizon employee.
Verizon's stance since it's inception is that they could sell subpar phones as long as they offered more coverage.
It worked for a while, but:
They no longer offer more coverage.
They no longer offer better service.
They still offer subpar phones and some of the really great phones they are offering are pissing people off by being crippled.
In a world where 2 wireless giants offer similar "coverage and service", the more generous giant wins out.
