The transition line “Wireless from AT&T, formerly Cingular.” has been created for use
on wireless related, customer facing communications (i.e. communication coming from
both wireline and wireless groups). The primary AT&T signature should be used as a
sign-off.
The transition line is live text, which means that designers must key in the message.
These guidelines outline the specific requirements when creating applications that

Dial *228 and select option 2 (to obtain an updated PRL).
Note: Must be completed prior to international travel (within a Verizon Wireless digital service area).
Non-EVDO Voice Devices
Dial *228 and select option 2 prior to having the manual flash process performed.
This updates the Verizon Wireless systems so the customer is on the latest PRL.
Reduces the risk of a PRL being pushed out to this device prior to a customer's travel.
Manually update with the South Korea PRL in Verizon Wireless Stores prior to roaming in South Korea.
Advise the customer to not change their calling plan prior to traveling, which could overwrite the manual South Korea PRL.
Note: Non-EVDO types of BlackBerry, Treo, and PDA Smartphone cannot be used in South Korea.
Upon returning to the U.S.
All Voice Devices
Dial *228 and option 2 to change back to the PRL relevant for their calling plan (must be in a Verizon Wireless digital service area).
Note: If customers retain the previous PRL, the roam indicator will not be accurate.
