I'm going to post this one time since people haven't been reading the entire thread or are forgetting that this question was asked already. This was an email I response I received from Verizon Wireless Customer Care NY-NJ regarding a question I submitted about the equipment upgrade policy. Basically you can do an early equipment upgrade (at the discounted price) 12 months into a 2 year contract if you're on a plan that's $49.99 or higher and don't have an overdue balance (i.e. balance more than 30 days past due). Just read the rules in the response. Dear Sam K, Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless through our website. We appreciate your inquiry regarding upgrade eligibility, and we are happy to assist you. Yes, you are correct. If you have a one-year contract agreement you can upgrade equipment every 10 months at the one-year promotional price. If you have a two-year service agreement you can upgrade equipment every 22 months at the two-year promotional price. As a reminder, we do offer an early upgrade program for existing customers. Here is how the program works. Early upgrades will be allowed for customers who meet the following eligibility requirements: · Be on or migrate to a current calling plan $49.99 or higher with a two-year service agreement. · Completed at least 12 full months of service. · Account must be current with no more than 30 days balance due at the time of upgrade. · Requires a new two-year agreement that would reset the clock for New Every Two. Note: Customers participating in New Every Two are eligible for an early upgrade at two-year pricing. In order to receive the New Every Two discount (up to $100.00), they must have completed 22 months since their last equipment upgrade. As a quick reminder, you can dial #646 and send for minutes used, and #225 and send for your balance. Both calls are airtime free! Please remember, as part of our Worry Free Guarantee your satisfaction is guaranteed on any equipment you purchase from us. Feel free to contact us again through www.VerizonWireless.com if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Kenneth Verizon Wireless Customer Service "We never stop working for you!"

Ok, I like this phone, I want this phone, but I dont feel its necessary to get all upset over a release date. It doesn't matter who says what in these forums about its release date, it willb be released when its released..hopefully soon, but if its not..what can we do about it? nothing..nada..zipp, unless someone here can manufature one themselves. On another note..once we do have this phone in our hands there will be another phone on the horizon that we want and start waitting for, gadget freaks like ourselves will NEVER be satisfied, trust me, my wifes knows :P

I'm sorry, dabigdog_44, but there is no excuse for poor writing skills. Writing in a manner that would have had you flunk 3rd grade English is more a result of laziness than because it "makes for a shorter statement". I have never had anyone criticize me because my posting were too long. Quite the contrary - many folks have commented that my postings are well thought out, interesting, and informative. It's hard to take your comments seriously if you're not willing to put forth the effort to seriously proofread your own writing. If you really don't care what you write, why should I care what you have to say? Note: Time to write, proofread (not just spellcheck), and edit this commentary = 23 minutes.
