😁 🤣

I wanted a decent phone upgrade when my "new every two" time came and I did not want a camera phone. My wife and I both thought that the LG4600 looked good and we attempted to upgrade on the verizon website but couldn't do it. I called customer service but they told me that it was an internet only phone. I told them that I tried to get it as an upgrade on the internet but couldn't and they suggested that I try sales. They connected me to sales and I spoke to a punk who asked me why I wanted the LG4600!!!, when I could get the LG6000 camera phone and he could get it to me for free. I told him that it was very simple; I want to upgrade my phones using my "new every two" for my primary line and pay for the other phone for my w...

🙂 We really love these phones. The sound and reception is great, even miles out on the beach (Assateague Island), great features such as the schedule/calender, note pad, alarm, and the great looking and informative exterior display.
This is a great phone!!. Tiny and functional, looks cool, without the garbage/toy phone on it.
If you want it, keep trying and don't let the clowns at sales and customer service dissuade you.

I just called sales back, said I am ready for a "new every two" upgrade and want the LG4600 phone and the guy said fine you'll have it in two days. I did tell them in an e-mail that I wanted the LG4600, and that I would go to another service that was willing to get me the phone that I wanted. maybe that helped.

Good luck...

Getting an oddball phone with a limited release may involve problems down the road. Few other users to share info with. Difficulty getting an exchange should a problem arise. Little CS knowledge (if that's possible) or difficulty getting accessories or software updates. There's a reason why this model is so hard to get and why CS is reluctant to send one out. I don't think CS was trying to deny the phone simply out of some power trip or rudeness.

Too bad the analog has likely been disabled. Stub antennas are generally poor performers in fringe areas.

The sales punk told me that he had to charge me for both phones as the LG4600 did not qualify for the "new every two" program.

I called sales once again and told them I wanted the LG 4600 phone, and the salesman said fine, it'll be there in two days!!!

It's amazing what'll happen when you hang up on someone and call someone else.

The new every two cannot be redeemed through the phone w/ cust service or sales. it can only be redeemed through a store and maybe even online.
