No dice in DC

Sorry guys, phone isn't here. I'd like to thank everyone who has emailed me. I really appreciate everything you guys have offered, you've all been very nice. Now, the release date was today, but as I specified in an earlier post, the phone was delayed due to a software problem. I've seen people post April but that is not accurate. It won't be that long! The Motorola rep (who you guys also bombarded with emails, chill out!) is still very confident it will be out by the end of February. So I am guessing it will hit retail stores by March. Note, I said GUESS. It is a total crapshoot now, and as someone else pointed out all jsut speculation. But we are definitly down to sooner rather then later.

wat up people, like you gives i have been waiting for this damn phone to come out for a long time. I just got an email from Motorola after asking them about the V600....maybe this will clear some pplz confusion...althought people have been saying this all over this forum :D Thank you for contacting Motorola e-mail support. We really appreciate your interest in our brand and our products. Regarding your question, we are expecting the Motorola V600 to be launched by the last week of February 2004. Actually, there was a delay, due to licensing issues with the FCC . We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause you. Note that we will ship the V600 to ATT only at first, so they will only release it in those areas that they have GSM coverage which is most of the larger states but not the entire US. The Motorola V600 is a phone that has GSM technology, therefore any Service Provider using that technology will be able to carry it. Please contact your service provider to verify the technology they use to give you service. For further information regarding this or any other subject, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-331-6456, where one of our agents will assist you. Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday from 8pm to 7pm CST. Also, for information about our products, you may visit our web site at www.motorola.com. Thank you for allowing us to be of your assistance. Best regards

Re: T616 with BT head set feedback?

the hbh-65 was returned. Battery life (talk time) was somewhere between 1 and 2 hours. I have conference calls that regularly go beyond two hours, so this doesn't work for me. I will pick up an hbh-35. Note: my first bt headset was the hbh-30, which I used with a t68. It worked well, but I broke it: cracked it along the length of the headset. I feel like I've come full circle, now returning to the hbh-35.
