Where do you find the launch package? Thanks

That's exactly what it's limited to. "Limited object exchange" and when you go through the rest of the launch package, it only talks about vCard for file transfer.

I paid for the credit and downloaded the program then I got STUCK!! How do you know which firmware to save? your directions say pick it from the box, but there are tons of firmware versions!! I am trying to flash my husbands Cingular branded 810. My w810i is unlocked and it has the version listed as R4CK003 (lol it also says CXC 1250317 which I did not recognize anywhere). The Davinci software has two of those America 1 and America 2. Also, I called Sony Ericsson and they said the firmware version is R4CE012. That's on the Davinci list too. Am I supposed to be flashing with my version, the SE version or Cingular or what?? I am just a little confused and I am hoping you can help me because I already spent the $13!! Thank you!!

WOW! ...and didn't they win a J.D. Power award for outstanding customer service. *note to self* T-Mobile is in it for profit, not customer loyalty.

You want America 1. After you flash to America 1, you can download updates from SE if you want.

I think I am just too stupid to do this....it isn't doing anything...I spent two hours trying to get the "test" to work and it's like it doesn't even know that the phone is there. I hold in the C button and then after about a minute or so of holding it in it just loads up the orange file transfer screen. Do you have to be on the Internet while you are running this program? I have not been and it just doesn't seem to be working.. I'm so frustrated!!

T-Mobile is in it for the profit??? Are you kidding? And here I always thought they were non-for-profit. Boy, have MY eyes been opened. Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that Verizon, Cingular, SprintPCS, BestBuy, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Nokia, Comcast Cable, DirecTV, Dell, SONY, Nintendo, Samsonite, McDonald's, TGIFridays, Applebees, Red Lobster, Chinet, Microsoft, Home Depot, Panasonic, Hershey, and any one of thousands of companies are in it for profit.

Net loss in subscriptions will carry on (well) into new year, what happens after that depends solely on SPCS and their ability to: market themselves better, concentrate on keeping what subs they do have, nipping this integration issue they're having* in the bud, and "hey, anyone remember those synergies they were talking about?" * This is a side-note: what is going on w/ every Nextel subscriber jumping ship?

Urg- yet another set of questions on music & ringtones
by roseredd    Nov 7, 2006, 12:22 AM
in the Samsung SCH-A950 forum

 Sorry, gang- I have read through quite a bit of the forum, but I'm still left with just a few questions. (Note: I have the phone, and a transflash card) 1. Should I opt to buy the music kit from Verizon, am I right in assuming that I will then be able to transfer my music files (one way or another) onto my phone to use as ringtones? I have no use for my phone being a standalone mp3 player or something, I just want to have ringtones! 2. In the above case, will it be the whole song, or would I be forced to have 30 second clips? 3. Alternitively, if I pot to just buy a cable and download the drivers, what is the answer to those questions as well? 4. Is there any major disadvantage to buying the cable/downloading the drivers, vs. Verizon's musi kit? Thank you so much!!
