well i sure it depends on what is availible. they usally keep some in stock for this reason but also replacement devices are usally refirbished. in the case if they did run out you would receive you would receive a device to equal value.

so is it now 110 for the insurance plus the 50 more for the sk3 for a total of 160? I know they dropped the price on razrs to 70, anychance they did this for the sk2 also?

With the 6700 you don't have to pay as much for the data plan. You would just need to pay the Voice Plan + $15 for data. Also Sprint's EVDO services are way faster than Cingular's EDGE. My speeds in Kansas City range from 300 KB to 1 MB per second.

I forgot to mention the stub antenna on the 6700 is actually quite nice. When I have the Keyboard opened up it makes it easier to hold on to the phone.

that's a good question. Ya know i'm not totally sure, but if you are using tmobile over there...then i'm sure the phone would work. As for the internet/web browsing, i'm not sure you'll be able to do that, because the company called "Danger" controls that. IF i'm correct, they are separate towers that send the signals for internet and phone.
But you should call Tmobile. Tmobile.com they may have different plans over there as well

You forgot to mention EDGE is not nearly as fast as EVDO, yet even on T-Mobile the data plan costs $5 more than Sprint's Vision. There's also the fact that you can tether the connection to your laptop with the 6700 using a Vision plan.
Add in the advantage of video, Windows Mobile 5.0, capabilities to control your home computer via logmein.com, stream TV through orb.com or Slingbox and the 6700 is the clear winner.
