the interesting part is that Cingular is the 1st in the world to launch a new technology. not Europe, not Japan (althouth their looking at skipping this 3.5G and going straight to 4G)- i think that's note-worthy. After-all this might lead to us having some really cool phones BEFORE the rest of the world! who wudda thought? 8)

COME ON PEOPLE!! THE THEIR/THER/THEY'RE CONCEPT IS ELEMENTARY!! And by the way Cingular is for people who putt from the rough. I had a GSM phone once. Then I head-butted because it would make any calls. I know Columbus isn't the biggest city in the U.S. but I know I get perfect reception even in my basement now. GSM just seems weak.

T-Mobile Total Internet
Overview
On November 7, T-Mobile will launch T-Mobile Total Internet. This is a new data service that delivers unlimited Internet access using the full complement of T-Mobile’s data network, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi (T-Mobile HotSpot), all at a very affordable price! T-Mobile Total Internet is aligned with the launch of the GC89 network card, which is GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi enabled – all in one card!
In addition, T-Mobile Total Internet can be added as a feature to any qualifying voice rate plan for just $29.99 per month.
Note: This add-on is available only when a customer is combining voice and data on the same SIM card.
Expiring Plans:
There is no change to the BlackBerry Minutes & Mail rate plans, which remain in our lineup of offers. However, the Total Internet Plan and Add-on Feature will replace the following plans:
All iPAQ Minutes Mail & More plans will expire end of day December 31.
T-Mobile Internet $19.99 Add-on feature will expire end of day December 31.
$29.99 T-Mobile Internet Plan that includes unlimited GPRS, EDGE, 300 text messages and $0.20 voice per minute will expire end of day November 6 but will be available for activations ONLY through the Business Channel and VAR until end of day January 31, 2006.
Customers on these expiring plans will be grandfathered and migrated to a plan in our current offer line-up at the end their contract agreement
