Tricked Out

I purchased the software phonetools version4.1 for downloading to my phone from a PC. The software was supposed to be for this phone, but when installing it it software doesn't recognize my phone! :-(

Any suggestions

What's the deal with custom ringtones on these phones?!?!
I need some answers.

I have a wave file of the three stoges, "Hello; Hello; Hello." and would like to make a ringtone out of it and put it on my phone (a Samsung Gleam...you know, the one with reception that sucks). Can this be done. I've looked for a data suite CD but, there aren't any available. Any suggestions?

Hi there guys,

Today I just bought a Verizon LG Vx-8350 phone. The "stock" ringtones really suck so I want to put some MP3's from my iTunes playlist on it, but I can't figure out how.

The phone does NOT have a Mini-SD card, and CONNECTS to my computer via Bluetooth.

Do I need a SD card to store music? Is it possible to save MP3's/WAV's/AIFF's to the phone memory?

Hey i have a question im, looking to get a buisness phone for myself and ill admit as far as price and amount i have to care about staying on the payments Metro wins.

i know they do both CDMA and GSM i was wondering if its possible to unlock say a T-Mobile phone and throw one of Metro's GSM SIM cards into it.

I am wondering how to set my text message ringer as one of my music ringtones? when i go under the settings my music ringtones are not there. can this be done?

Trying to increase increase the volume of the ring on the phone. Everything set to high, still quiet ring, don't hear it in next room, Also can you change the number of times the phone will ring before going to voicemail???

I was just wondering if sprints Palm Centro would work with a different carrier at all?
are they locked or anything like that ... well i know there's no such thing as locked in the CDMA world but ya know what I'm talkin about..

I'm with a local provider, so it's pretty common for their customer's to come in with alltel and verizon phones and say hey activate this as my phone and they're like okay no prob... so my question is... is it possible with a sprint phone?

I'm kind of interested in the Palm Centro. I don't need anything to flashy but I'd like a full keyboard with a little bit of extra functionality.

Heard that VZW just disabled mp3s from being saved as ringtones. I use funformobile.com and share it with my customers but a few days ago it stopped working. Tried downloading the tones to my pc and saving as midi, then attaching in an email to my number @vzwpix.com but to no avail. Is this VZW's way of making sure you can only purchase ringtones through them? Anyone know how to bypass it?

I've loaded MP3 ringtones to my Palm 700wx and they are so quiet that I can hardly hear them. By contrast, the .MID files that were included with the phone can be heard a mile away. Is there some way to increase the volume of just the MP3 ringers? I'm asking because I use a mix of the .MID and MP3 ringers.

If anyone could help me i would appreciate it very much, I have verizon and was wondering where and how do I get the Firefox browser.?.?

where are they? I'm looking for underground/industrial stuff mostly, but would be happy with free ring tones period. Sick of all these sites that either promise BS or want a CC.
