I want to know when the now samsung slide phone is coming to dealer locations in Maryland. Its a sweet phone and Im waiting to get a contract to get that phone and I cant stand not having a cell, please somebody help!

My wife is convinced that we should sell our old cell phones that we still have online to one of these cell buyers I guess you'd call them. I'm not so convinced that we'll ever get any money. We do not have a digital camera so we can't really sell on ebay. Have any of you ever used one of these services where you mail them your phone and they send you money? Why?? I went to upgrade to the S710 and discovered that it's discontinued. Cingular doesn't have it on their web site any more and both they and a reseller I called said the phone was discontinued. I assume it's because a new model will soon replace it, it's far too popular to just drop it, but WHEN? WHAT? Should I go and get one of the last ones of this great phone or wait for something hopefully even better? And will it be before the holidays like I'd assume? I saw no rumours or discussion of this around yet so am a bit perplexed. Thanks!

I have a rep's sales mgr trying to tell me analog will not be supported by anyone end of 2005. He pointed me to a 1999 doc saying end of 2004 for E911 100% of a carriers handsets must have Automatic Location Identification. If these phones were made after 2001 shouldn't they have them, analog or not? I only have 20 users on analog, but they really are in the boonies with both analog and digital handsets. The trimodes can't even get a signal (And they aren't set for digi only either)

I have seen some documentation stating Analog doesn't have to be supported after Feb 2008, but now I can't find it. I know this guy thinks he will be getting upgrade credit for the analogs, but he won't. They are second phones- if they aren't supported ...

Haven't had time to search all of the forums, so thought I would ask: Is there a new Sprint phone coming out that's thinner than the Razor and has Bluetooth?

I've heard a lot of rumors about a bluetooth sanyo phone but no hard evidence does anybody have any info at all about this?

Heard a Rumor that sometime in April, {around the 6 month merger anniversary}, all of the legacy att wireless customer's will be forced to migrate to Cingular. Anyone out there have any insight on this ?

Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering if somebody out there might be able to help me out...My contract with cingular is expiring in two months, and I'm looking to change carriers...Not that cingular has been bad per se, but I'm not getting good reception in my new apartment, and it's time to move on. Anyway, I did a bit of research and I'm intrigued by Amp'd mobile. I like the design of the kyocera jet and, at only $100, it's well within my price range. Does anyone know anything about them? Does anyone actually have one? What are your impressions?

Does anyone know when the z520, w800i, or the w600i is going to come out for cingular?

The V635 lloked like a great phone. I have been a Moto user for some time but my last 3 have been junk.

When is Moto and Cingular going to come out with a quality phone that ins't a PDA i.e. Treo, BlackBerry or iPaq?

Cingular has had to replace my V551 twice as of today for the same reason. The thing resets in the middle of a call and has to go through the whole start-up process.

I just want a stable well built phone.

I am a Cingular customer using a 2 year old LG. I am tired of using my Palm Tungsten E for phone contacts that I have failed to input to my phone. Here are my requirements in order of priority:

#1 Want bullet-proof phone (signal strength and call quality!)

#2 Want to be able to import my Palm Tungsten E contact data. (use Apple Powerbook)

#3 Quad Band nice as I travel to Europe and Asia.

#4 Camera

Bluetooth - don't care about.
MP3's - don't care about

#1 and #2 are by FAR the most important points to me. I don't have a problem changing carriers. I'm scheduled to receive a free Treo 650 through United Airlines and while this may be able to hit on #2 and #4, not sure about #3 and from what I'm hearing, it is a LOUSY pho...
