New Verizon Wireless Blackberry??

Has anyone heard anything about Verizon Wireless releasing a new Blackberry device, comparable to the Curve? Right now, they do not have any Blackberry's with a full QWERTY keypad and a camera. I haven't been able to get a straight answer from anyone as to whether a device like this is on the way in the near future?

VZW Insiders: anything new???

Hello,

I was told by a VZW salespeople the other day that there are no new phones coming out till holidays 2007! Is it true???

I've been sitting on my upgrade for months now, waiting for a phone to come out that I like. Meanwhile, my old phone is beginning to break down. I'm going crazy checking the VZW and phonescoop websites every day for something new.

Anyone got the inside scoop on upcoming phones?

Thanks!
Marsha

Metro PCS coming to San Antonio

I've been reading about METROPCS coming to San Antonio. Well it seems that there is a possibility that they are going to be merging our company. So now I have a few questions:
1. How is Metro with their employees?
2. What kind of customer complaints should I be expecting?

Any other input about METROPCS is more than appreciated.

AT&T just announced...

AT&T just announced that it will be reappropriating the entire telecommunications network and is sueing the FCC for illegally forcing them to create dummy corporations attempting to conceal their monopolization.

T-Mobile's owner might consider buying Sprint

Much beleaguered Sprint Nextel might get bought out by Deutsche Telekom, the owner of major wireless competitor T-Mobile, according to an analyst report.

In a report issued yesterday, Merrill Lynch analysts cited industry pricing as the reason why Deutsche Telekom -- the world's sixth largest telecom carrier -- might acquire Sprint Nextel, despite Sprint's operational difficulties and sinking position in the US mobile market.

US Cellular launches HTC PPC 6800

I was told by our local store (after I threatened to cancel service because of a lack of a high end data phone from USCell) that the Mogul/Titan/whatever will be launched by USCellular on Friday 3/28.

Just FYI - it is the updated model with the EVDO GPS.

Any good Moto for Verizon?

Last year there was a rumor of an updated version of the Timeport/Startac. (both were solid high quality phones) Any chance of this happening for Motorola and Verizon?
