My computer at hone now kicks me off when trying to sign on. I will log on and when i click submit it goes back to the log in screen. My brother post on the same computer under a couple different names and has received some warning. Is this a sign of a blocked IP?

My fellow classmates and i use phonescoop.com for research and training purposes. The company i work for is thrilled that such sites like this are around to educate, discuss, and provide in-depth reviews for so many phones. As it is a great help to not only those of us that work in the wireless industry but for the consumers as well.

i work for a Alltel Agent and we had a meeting with Alltels Senior VP 2 days ago and i asked him about the CDMA HTC Diamond and he like many said , yes we will have it before Oct. but it seems you guys find out more, first... so have you seen or heard anything about the CDMA version yet? 😁

Some of the online forums I frequent have the option to place other specific forum members on an "ignore" status so that messages generated by the blacklisted individuals (set up individually for each account- choose your own blackout) simply do not appear in any threads and are skipped entirely.

Anything we can do about getting that functionality for registered users in here? There's a few trolls out there I just don't even want to see again. I think it would go a long way towards discouraging the ridiculous behavior we're seeing in some of the forums, particularly the VZW area.

I've seen you closing threads in Shoptalk. I was curious as to why? You closed one on maycroft, but from my point of view, she did nothing wrong.

Her profile states she is a Sprint Sales Rep, and the description for Shoptalk is "Discussion area for employees of wireless carriers, including retail and customer service."

It says nothing about what we can and cannot post about. Just that we have to be a Wireless employee.


Anyways, I just wanted to see it from your point of view.

I was wondering if metro Pcs was going to ever come out with a Smartphone? I like the service but the phones are very very cheese with not alott of features for the Business person in mind.

I've tried to use the Phone Lookup to find phones with particular screen sizes, but I've run into some speedbumps.

1) I can't enter a min/max width and height.

2) I can't filter out operating systems that I don't care about.
I want to search for anything that isn't a smartphone, but there is no way for me to see phones that don't have an OS listed unless I view all.

3) I can't see more than 20 results of any search.
There should be a page feature implemented so that I can continue through the list.

4) There is no way to reverse sort on a column.

I appreciate all the information that is available on this site, I would recommend it to others at my company if it were more useful.

I made a post in the General forum this morning, and after I posted it said that I created the post at 4:51pm, the real time was 9:22am (Pacific time)

I do pay attn to the times people post to keep track of postings that I have read and haven't.

Any ideas as to what's going on with PhoneScoop time?

Occasionally, if I inset a smiley into the text box after I have already typed in text, the smiley code insterts, but it will randomly delete part or all of the message.

The first time I thought it was because I was doing a very poor job at HTML and it just glitched. But i've had it happen twice today.

Not one particular smiley either. Just whatever, whenever.

It happens most when I use (gasp) IE 6 (stupid work and not updating systems...) but I DID have it happen once when I was using Firefox 3.

Just an FYI. And since it only happens when I am writing a message, I can't really give you any examples.

I just wanted to post this to see if anybody else has had this happen, or if I just suck at smileys.
