I was just wondering which forum software you use. I'm going to start a website and I think the style phonescoop.com uses would work better than one that displays all messages within a thread automatically.

In the forums, you can read old threads by clicking on the page numbers. Why isn't there a "jump to page" area? Similar to the search box, but type in a page number and hit go and there it is. Especially in the lounge, it would be helpful to be able to jump back multiple pages, especially when I know what day a certain thread was on, and can guess around what page it would be on. It takes way too long to go back twenty pages by clicking on the numbers.

Is it just me or am I the only one who finds it very difficult to use these forums?? When I use other forumes they seem much more user friendly and take a lot less time to read and navigate the threads.

Is there a reasone why this site uses this style forum over what I am uased to seeing???

Why do some users get banned and all their post get left up, but other times their posts disappear? It gets confusing when I'm reading through a thread and a post is just gone, completely.

I was wondering if you could delete my previous screen names of nothing4free and Theatrical_Shenanigans. I won't be using them anymore and I know they are a waste of space.

I'm sure these are somewhere in the TOU but I figured I'd get a quick answer here Rich.

1. Is there any way to appeal a ban so that you allow the user back on the site?

2. At what point do you decide that blocking a username is no longer effective and that you must resort to blocking the ip address of said user?

3. Is there any ways that someone can get banned by just being reported repeatedly or do you investigate each report and claim?

hi guyz since i usually read forum when I'm waiting for my next call and also our computers here are not so fast(i think even internet connection) sometimes its hard to read the posts esp. if the thread has a lot of reply.. so i wish that they improve the threads i mean once you click the thread it will also show the comments below just like the forums on online games for us not to click BACK button then click the next reply or post what do you think?? 👀

I find phonescoop to be a really great resource for both phone info and reviews and news regarding the cell industry in general. I find myself using it just for phone/carrier lookups even at home.

After using the site for some time though, I ended up stumbling across what seems to be your most active forum; the Lounge. I found a surprising community tucked deep within your quality cell phone site, completely unrelated to cell phones. I see people who have been users for years still posting, and users who haven't posted in equally long periods of time coming back to fill the rest of the group in on life-happenings or just saying hello. I recently wrote a review for a phone (t-mobile prepaid) and I saw that in the right column it said "soemthing" and not something for the "do not write about" section. Easy mistake to miss, just wanted to let you know.
